Honestly for Majima... Just finish his club sidequests. The rewards alone are worth it, drown yourself in money and the bad ads thing you get.
Also by now, you can take Mr. Shakedown, he's not hard you just have to be patient and on top of your healing game (Staminan Royales at this point are near full heals)
If you never did a Platinum game Rising is a hard starting point. Since it emphasizes defensive playing in order to open up attack windows. But whatever Drew is playing this god damned masterpiece
