It's not quite the 2010's but the MGS4 PS3 was my pride and joy.

2-D, 3-D, top-down, isometric? Was it like pitfall themed or sci-fi?

I don't know anyone IRL who plays video games. All of my friends who game play board games and D&D. So I am currently suffering through Carcasonne on Board Game Arena and participating in a Star Wars D&D campaign just for the sake of being social.

Meanwhile, I've just been playing Red Dead Online by myself riding around just me an my horse...

Operation Winback

The original cover shooter! That game doesn't get enough credit! I'm sure the timing is debatable but it was the first time I remember hearing about cover mechanics.

I've been struggling with this one because I don't know how "unpopular" these games actually were:

NES: Blaster Master

SNES: Uniracers

N64: F-Zero GX, Mystical Ninja starring Goemon

PS2: Project Snowblind

PS3: Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, Pixel Junk Eden

@izzy_izumi: Ghost in the Shell for PSX was a surprisingly good game! I bought it as a fan of the show and enjoyed it quite a bit!

I seriously thought they were doing a bit when they brought Vinny on. He sounded like a completely different person! Amazing!

Feel better soon, Vin! I hope this procedure was just what you needed!

Paul Eiding is great! Him and Gary Chalk just seem like the coolest guys.

Can we get David Hayter to record the other half of that conversation?

Just get David Hayter to repeat random phrases as questions: "Twitter?" "The Translator Project, huh?"

FUUUUUUHHHHHHH....... THIS IS SO FANTASTIC

*edit* the only way it could be better is if his voice started to glitch out at the end and he started talking about memes and scenes.

I'm playing through Link's Awakening DX for the first time right now and I am blown away by how good it is! That being said, most of my amazement stems from the developers taking elements of gameplay, graphics and sound from A Link to the Past and shoehorning them onto the Game Boy.

I think Link to the Past will always have the edge, but if Link's Awakening ever got a proper 16-bit remake and support for a controller with more buttons so you don't have to switch items quite so frequently you might actually have a quandary on your hands.
