I played a few levels with my son on the middle difficulty and we’ve been having fun with it, but for me arcade brawlers like this are always not challenging until you start ratching up the difficulty in order to more effectively use the toolset your given. I felt the same way playing Streets of Rage 4 but on the lower difficulties you can get away with sloppy play and ignoring mechanics just to get through the story. I’m hoping TMNT will be the same.
Dan coming back gives me hope for the video content. I never realized till it was mentioned (and on his departure) on how much of the fun weird stuff was spearheaded by him.
I’ve already accepted that this is another Wii situation and it’s going to be a while before you can just walk in a store and pick one up. I have yet to ever seen a PS5 (or Xbox Series X) sitting on a shelf.
Has anyone actually been to the video game section of a Best Buy recently? If so, this should come as no surprise. Half of the few physical games they stock are bargain bin 19.99 titles. The other chunk of the games aisles are either gift cards for psn/xbox live or game merch.
I don't think Best Buy is going any where any time soon, but the writing is starting to appear on the walls. It's always SUPER uncomfortable when I go in there and like 15 staff members are standing by the entrance staring at you waiting for you to ask them for help.
my local best buy as a pretty full video game section (with the exception of the Nintendo area which is not as full) I guess it is location dependent.
