@ryu_batman: If they make Duke a 3rd person game and/or they change the voice actor, I'm out. If it's just a spin-off like Manhattan project, I'm OK with that. But the main game has to be a 1st person fast paced shooter.
@AnimZero: 4 development companies + publisher and a lot of "special thanks" for each one. I would say around 8-10 mins of scrolling credits followed by a bonus scene that is only somewhat funny if you get the joke.
@themangalist: Playing Duke as a kid, I never really found it funny. If anything, for me it was incredibly realistic and had a serious tone. I remember one of my friends saying that the monsters in the game gave him nightmares, I think he was referring to the green vagina crawly things. I remember that the level designs were amazing at the time and I spent hours trying to find those damn keycards. Great memories to be sure. Now, as a 26 year old, I really enjoyed DNF, and I'll certainly play through it again. I hope they release some single player add-ons/DLC before the inevitable Gearbox developed sequel.
@UKSamwise: I really love this game, I'm even planning on a second playthrough. It's probably my favorite FPS of the year so far, but even I would not give it more than 3 stars. It would make me happy if Jeff enjoys it too, but I can see him giving it 2 also.
