Love you, Drew! I mean, not like in love with you. But we love all the stuff you've done and we can't wait to see your next venture. Or not if it's not online. Either way, we really wish you the best of luck. Giant Bomb is going to be fine, but it won't be the same without you, duder. <>
Bought Fallout: New Vegas for about $20 and went with a bunch of mods. after about four playthroughs, I'm near 1000 hours and it's one of my favorite games of all time.
Rocket League is also a great piece of value, and if you're in to free-to-play, Marvel Heroes is fantastic (especially if you're in to Marvel in general). Terrarria is often on sale for about $5 and that's easily 100's of hours of content for what I think is a better Minecraft.
If Destiny was allowed, this should be allowed. Also, fuck Destiny! If you liked B&W more than something else on your top 10, put it in! Or don't! But you should! YEAH!
They aren't cancelled games, but man, hearing about the development of L.A. Noire and the way Konami treated every employee related to games is hard to stomach. Like damn, dude, getting axed off the credits or being put on custodial duty sounds like a nightmare.
Also, to a much lesser extent, it's a bummer that there haven't been any new Oddworld games that aren't HD remasters. They were always so unique and colorful (yet not up their own ass) that I really loved them. Take a look at how they handled a first-person shooter and a character action game put together, like wow!
Also, I got some good suggestions for mods, but if you know anymore, I'd love to hear them! I'm currently thinking about just starting a game with the SMGs and cosmetic stuff.
XCOM 2 is currently on sale and I was thinking about getting it (as well as the DLC), but before I do, is there anything I should know about it? Are there any technical issues that I should be aware of, or any big changes from a patch? Any mods you think I need right out of the gate?
