Google went for it and failed, it happens. Honestly I think they could still pivot if they switch the model to a gamepass type of deal, really don't understand why they thought full priced games was a good idea. The real problem is data caps and internet speeds though

I think it will show fans that EA and Bioware doesn't really care about them and I wouldn't doubt if they try another live service type game many people will be hesitant to try it. Also, going back on your word is a big hit to your reputation IMO.

It would have been better to not say anything at all and let the game die last year, going back on their word just further cements their reputation as being a pretty shitty publisher and a declining developer.

They should try and fix it for the people who stuck with it, and if it's good people will join because people like good games. Maybe even do a sequel and move all the updates to that like Destiny and Division etc.

No multiplayer for 3? That was the best part tbh.

Doesn't look like they did much for pc that they couldn't just do a patch for those who already own it, HDR will be nice though but that could just be patched in tbh.

Haven't seen wandavision but the slow burn streaming shows has been a thing outside of netflix for a while. It kinda shows they don't have enough content to keep people subscribed IMO.

I love the marvel movies, and I personally think they break their own formula in cool ways all the time that make them interesting to watch but still good family movies. I'm also a superhero comic book fan though.

Gungrave is still one of my favorite anime series, and I remember really liking that game back in the day. It definitely wasn't 60 dollars, don't think it was even 50 when it came out(or maybe i just bought it used lol)? It was marketed as a modern take on the throwback arcade shooter when it came out, so it was meant to kinda feel like an older game back then.

I like that google went for it, but with the comcast monopoly, terrible internet pricing, non growing fiber connections and comcasts ridiculous data caps this stuff was dead anyway IMO. Also, this should have been a gaming netflix like service in the first place, why would anyone buy a game you can only stream? Maybe if you also got a physical copy that could be played on pc or something but otherwise it just doesn't make sense in any regard, at least not for me. I hear they have the best port of Cyberpunk though lol.

@toastman: Sounds right, I had some issues with multiple sound drivers that were causing crashes in games. It's something that seems easily overlooked, I think I just ended up stumbling on an answer through google and found out it was my issue.
