@puchiko: That one scales with Arcane right? I'm kind of interested in it but I have just about nothing in Arcane.

This is my first From game and I would probably call it a Souls game. I think that's a good quick way to make it clear that the game is a difficult action RPG made by From/Miyazaki. I'd kind of compare it to how rogue-like is used for games that are like Rogue, but it's more specific than that.

I started with the threaded cane and I was really regretting it while I was stuck on the Cleric Beast for ages (first time souls player), eventually I decided to explore some more and get more echoes to level up. Along the way I found the saw spear which I preferred, eventually I found the mark thing that lets you buy all of the starting weapons so I grabbed the Hunter's Axe and I love it. Went back and crushed the beast. Then I absolutely breezed by FG my first try. Right now I just took out that dude in Old Yarnam with the gatling gun I have the Kirkhammer unlocked and I like the sword part of it but most of my time has been spent with the axe in 2h mode and it's still easily my go-to, that spin move is so damn good. I just found a rifle spear and I have the ability to get the stakedriver but I have yet to use them yet. I wonder if the pokes of the spear will be better than the speed of the hammer sword as a backup.

Does anyone know which ankle Wyatt hurt? I thought all of those Sister Abigail setups looked wonky as hell. I thought it was because Taker is kind of bigger than most people Wyatt does it too + age stuff. But if it was the right ankle than that makes more sense.

I only caught the last 2 matches. I'm fine with Taker winning but that match seemed like way too much resting and the "bursts of action" did not really justify the resting. I loved how everything looked in the main event. Those were some pretty legitimate looking knees from both guys. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the Lesnar pole push. I get that you have to get him hurt somehow but that spot just looked kind of weird. It was nice and refreshing to see a cash in during a match and I'm pretty cool with Rollins winning. That being said I also think it's kind of odd that they had a dude lose earlier on the card then walk out with the belt, at least it was a heel doing it, but still... The one thing that makes me not mind it so much now is seeing the clip of that fucking RKO. Really incredible shit from those guys. Rollins launched himself so damn high. Oh also him swinging the title around is great.

I wonder how long Rollins will keep it. He's incredible in the ring but his mic skills still seem pretty bad to me.

I figured I may as well just post this here instead of making a new thread. This past stream they showed Erron Black, Shinnok and evil Liu Kang. Erron Black looks like a pretty decent zoner. Some of his variations have moves where he shoots while walking backwards, he has some good looking anti-airs and he has the ability to throw out caltrops, which stop running opponents in their tracks. One of the stand out things that I saw from Shinnok is that he has a Shang-Tsung type move where he "drains" his opponent, but instead of turning into them he gets the ability to use one of their special moves, it sounds like there is a pre-determined move that he steals for each character, the one they showed was the Sub Zero freeze which looked pretty useful. Oh and he also has a move that looks like the Shang Tsung ground skull move except it automatically does 3 (like Shang's ex) however they always move the opponent away instead of towards. Liu Kang looks pretty kombo heavy. They said that one of his punches is the fastest strike in the game. He has some solid looking fireballs, one variation basically has "bicycle punches" another one has a light mode and a dark mode which change what his projectiles do, light they are slightly faster but I believe less powerful, dark they do not trigger on impact, they kind of blow up on a timed delay.

Also they showed off a completely baller practice mode. It looks fairly easy to recreate something that you got blasted by online or against a friend and test it over and over with you trying different things to get out of it. Also you can set the practice stage to the other stages, basically it makes interactive holograms of the stage items. Oh and for those with a friend/relative who really wants to do a fatality but just can't pull it off there is apparently an "easy fatality" thing you can turn on.

So I decided to watch it and man, that ending. Imagine how fucking weird that must have been for the audience, from what I understand the two of them just kind of walked off after.

Does anyone remember the fans being so massively against a babyface going into WM? I missed a pretty big chunk of the 20s. There are more fans in the crowd cheering for Lesnar than Reigns at this point. I wonder if they're going to be bullheaded and give it to Reigns or if they're going to give it to the champion who doesn't even show up on every PPV.

So wait, I didn't watch raw but is there any explanation for why they had a tug of war over the belt like some kindergarteners fighting over a toy instead of, I don't know.... hitting each other???

I'm super torn on it. So far I have only listened to 4 episodes and I think episode 2 and 4 was pretty good but 1 and 3 were kind of "meh." I also think that the questions that are sent in are already getting a little same-y 4 episodes in.

Yeah sure. Not as often as with my mom but we still both say it. I don't think we've ever actually said "I love you" though, more often it would be more like "love ya."
