I have been to many mid-night releases at Gamestop in my life, but I've been to only one that I was not actually purchasing the game; Gears of War 3. I was only there for moral support for my friend who didn't want to wade through the many familiar faces. Waiting in line for 30 minutes, I casually observed the 50 or so people in line and all my assumptions of the GOW fan base were shattered. I expected to see what the world has labeled “Bros” crammed in line belt buckle to butt as far as the eye...

Fun to Look at, not to Play with. 0
I must preface this review by stating that I am a virgin to the BloodRayne series. Not until this new switch from 3-D to 2-D did it get my attention to play as the Dhampir. Oh what bloody a night it was when my BR cherry was popped. I honestly have no idea how this game got T for Teen rating; decapitations, exposed organs, and jetting bloodstreams are constantly filling the screen, but all of it is beautiful. I've never seen 2-D animation look so detailed and fluid in motion till BloodRayne Betr...

The Assassin Creed Redemption The first Assassin's Creed was just bursting of potential to me. The repetitive missions that were required each time that unlocked the assassination main missions were a pain. Abra-ca-dabra they gone! AC2 is definitively one of those sequels that fix most of the sore thumbs from its predecessor . It still has repetitive missions but thankfully they are optional. The scripted scenes and cut scenes are now of a GTA quality with camera angles and close ups to see em...
