@theodoricfriede: my dude, I’ve been a GB member for 12 years, or was until a couple hours ago anyway, so you can assume I play games, which means I have consoles, a computer, a TV, and some means to post here. Of course I regularly participate in capitalism. The only other choice is to live off the grid like some crazy anarchist. It’s literally the only available option. It doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to eliminate/avoid as many of the barriers as we can between workers and profits. Successfully self-employed people are able to gain more direct value for their own labor. I don’t feel that’s remarkably controversial?

Paying workers directly for their labor and not extracting/making money from the excess value they create is fairly anticapitalist last time I took economics.

Just keeping tis bumped. Here here! Our capitalist overlords no longer seem to care at all about enthusiast-focused content, as long as they get our sweet, delicious data. Feels stupid to pay them for the privilege of screwing us over and firing the people we’re trying to support.

Just like OP said, I know this is not in any way on GB. This is on Fandom or whichever VC vampire, man baby owns them. Will unsub and gladly support any/all of the crew should they strike out on their own.

On the upside, I can use the money I save to finally officially join over at Nextlander, which I should have done a year ago.

With GB actually doing Fortnite content now (with hopefully more to come), thought I’d see if there was a clan system or friend-adding resource for Bombers? I am now 100% down with Zero Build but would love other like-minded, not-12-year-olds to party up with. Any suggestion, or should I be over on the Discord channel?

@jensonb: I’m inclined to agree. I don’t feel unpacking the statement line by line for hidden meaning seems particularly useful, but as someone with at least a casual interest in writing, taken as a whole, it did feel very tone deaf.

That said, opening with talk of new transparency implicitly suggests one did not exist perviously, which I also found very odd. That’s all though. We’ll presumably know more in a few hours either way, and if there was/is any genuine acrimony, maybe in the days and weeks ahead too.

The range of possibilities past that are frankly numerous and very potentially exciting for all the parties involved. I know that what I’m rooting for.

Sorry if I didn’t see this covered, but do I have to be on a specific ship to register/play with the GB alliance? I know the game is strict about hopping around ships, so I wanna pick the right one, heh.

With all the deluge on consoles and (gag) mobile, what would be so wrong with a tight-ass FM game? Do it Xcom style or Wargroove/Advance Wars style. Seems like easy money for SE, and that seems to be their prime motivation , No?

Just feeling a bit wistful about AAA stuff like TDBZ Kakorat, or, Persona, or Attack on Titan, or even Tokyo Mirage Sessions, etc., etc. I know I have my own anime properties I’d like to see videogameized, life Tenchi, or Lain or Evangelion. What are yours?

Totally!!!! Thanks so much Duders! That’s exaxtly who I was thinking of. At least knowing that will make tracking down the streams waaaay easier, though if anyone does know those specifics, I’ all ears :)

I’ve allowed for all sorts of searches here and on Google, but I must not be using the right pramaters.

Back in the WM days, when Rorie and Alex were still mostly doing Screened, on a number of live streams, imcluding the Big Live Live Show (can’t recall the year), the gang would occasionally watch and delight in these terrible/wonderful independent martial arts movies, by a particular director, that were so lovably crappy and low-budget I was transfixed.

Can anyone remeber this, the director, and where I can find the films, and/or the streams I’m thinking of? I know it’s a bit vague, but I know some loyal Bomber is gonna know what I’m talking about. Please, I don’t want to resort to having to ask Mr Rorie himself!
