@csl316: I'm glad i'm not the only one baffled by the praise Halo Infinite has been getting, I've enjoyed the multiplayer a lot but it still needs work(and especially maps), but man that campaign is top to bottom bad. Poor story told poorly, the most bland and lifeless levels in the entire series, and an open world befitting of a lesser liked Far Cry game. The grappleshot is fun to use but....that's kind of it?
Man, I dunno, the multiplayer is really fun with great gunplay and movement and a really good pool of weapons, but since it was known this was gonna be an open world game I feared this was gonna be another MGS5 situation of great gameplay on the most bland boring levels of the series. I think this may be the first one I play more MP than SP, seems like I might finish the campaign once and never play it again, where as I still go back to those Bungie campaigns all these years later.
Super glad to see more horror representation on the site and especially Silent Hill! Really hope this at least goes through 2 & 3, everyone gushes about how good 2 is (which is accurate, it's fantastic) but 3 is also really great too.
Enjoyed it quite a bit from what i've played, my only real complaint is playlist need to be adjusted, and that the there isn't a ton of art variety in the maps(No snow maps, no maps on Covenant ships, etc.), but those are both things that will get better over time. Also the first F2P game where I feel no issue putting money into, yeah the BP progress is a tad to slow still, but it's got no time limit and I feel like i'm playing because i'm having fun, not because i'm trying to grind out progress, and that's so damn refreshing these days.
