A website based on personalities and drawing in an audience that connects with those personalities now posts a seemingly regular Quick Look of The Crew Motorfest (not "sport" cough* cough*) full of people I could not identify if my life depended on it. There have been been many reckonings on this site over the years, but if this video is evidence that Mike is now a "core" GB personality rather than a needed addition from outside in the wake of cuts, I am done. What the hell do Dan and Bakalar do aside from actively not being on content for the site they ostensibly get paid to be on? I'm sure the answer is business, but I stayed through the all the reckonings because some familiar faces were on every video. Not having them on videos (and podcasts... Dan...) is bad business. I get that Jan can't be on videos much either because Fandom fired all the video folks besides him, but that also sucks. If someone who has watched every piece of GB content since the start can't identify anyone except the interloper they already don't like in a video, then the GB name and brand have become trash. I'm finally done. This is a waste of my time, but will be that no more.

Is there some sort of guide or other information we can receive for when videos go from being live on Twitch to archived here? The second video of Grub playing through Mortal Kombat is on twitch, but not here. However, videos recorded after that one are listed here with embedded YouTube videos ready to watch. I am losing my mind trying to figure out what I have watched, need to watch, and what I may not even know I need to watch because videos from this site are split among this site, YouTube, and Twitch, and I only seem to be seeing some of them as one of the people still paying for premium and only wanting to consume content on this webite.

This place had changed a lot. I'm so glad people still come here to post in this thread every year.

@rorie: Thank you. I'm sure you get a lot of crap flung your way, especially amid transitions, so I just want to give you a thank you, and I appreciate that this in on the radar.

Wow this is unfortunate. The GB player will be missed. Fill to browser, as opposed to full screen, was a game-changer for me and how I could watch content while doing other easy tasks I needed to work on during the day. If the previously noted auto-resume is indeed gone, I can live with that, but if the progress bars don't fill up upon finishing a video, I am screwed. That seems to be the case based upon my first finished video. When viewing the videos page, the red completion bars under videos is how I kept track of my backlog of videos (like podcast episodes in podcast apps being marked listened to or not). To be clear, I still see the progress bar for old videos right now. But that vanishing on old videos and the progress bar apparently being a non-feature on the new player is a big issue for at least myself.

This would not hurt as much if Dan actually showed up to do his "full-time" job more than once in a blue moon. Apparently it takes Dan 40 hours a week to come up with the idea to tell Grubb to punch Tyson. Dan is a grifter.

They appear as a tiny thumbnail. Comments appear below in a similarly narrow format. I can click play, but all the UI is off the "screen" of the thumbnail so I can't make them full screen and actually watch the videos. Old videos posted before today do not seem to have the same problem.

@efesell: You are correct; I must have been confusing case names. I still maintain that idiot has just set himself up to make his own marriage illegal (which I think he wants to do) because he is such trash. He will do it if he can. Four years of Trump in which he did lots of verbal harm but no "real" harm are going to produce generations of very real harm because this court is young and will send this country back to the 1700s before they all die in 40-50 years. I have started looking for academic jobs overseas, but prospects are not great.

@thebobster92: One of the cases bigoted piece of shit Thomas cited as being on the chopping block next was interracial marriage. If that is not reinstating segregation, I don't know what is.
