The problem with putting the old names in every WM season, is the fans realize the people they are putting with the old names aren't good enough to stand out on their own and they need somebody else's star power to feel important.

I think the only two nitpicks I have with this card are both of the interference finishes on the show. Having someone completely new interfere in a former best friends feud makes no sense. Nobody in the crowd knew who it was, in fact some were chanting "who are you" lol.

And the end of the Ciampa/Cole match made no sense. They gave Ciampa a clear visual pinfall, which would setup a rematch at Takeover Tampa, but then also have Gargano turn on him. I'm sure they will explain it on Wednesday, but for now it makes no sense. Also I didn't really need to see more Gargano/Ciampa, it was great but I'm over it.

Overall though, fantastic show with some great wrestling (Lee/Dijakovic or the Bro/UE match would be my MotM) and fun to be at for once. Hopefully its not another 12 years(!) before they bring another PPV to Portland. While it may not be the same as it was in the territory days, certainly can get a good crowd to show up.

Excited to see NXT Takeover in person this weekend. Should be a solid, but not spectacular card given its spot before WM. Surprised that despite being a former wrestling town Portland hasn't had a PPV event since 2008.

These videos are always cut together so well. Plus Lance Storm and Mr. Miz is in it which is always great.

WWE's live production needs a lot of work. Which is surprising given how good their video package team works. Camera cuts and moves are nauseating, there have been multiple rumbles which they've missed a key entrance because they weren't showing the stage (AJ/Edge). I get wanting to hide the rough edges of worked punches/hits, but how many people left watching actually believe in the idea that this is a real fight?

As for the WWE financials, something must be way off. The news of the execs getting let go has their stock down an alarming 22%, even below their 52-week low.

I wonder if the producer is getting paid per camera cut.

It just feels like we see this time and time again with the start of a new unstoppable character. They want them to be feared, but rush them into a title match they don't want them to win since they are also really invested in the champion. This time it was exacerbated by it being the Hell in a Cell PPV (which is something else that's lame) so they couldn't get away with a no contest/countout etc with the fans not getting angry.

@hansolol: That's the best part of bad WWE is great Bryan and Vinny shows.

Fortunately I work Sunday's now, so I'll gladly miss main roster PPVs and stick with NXT/AEW ones.

Spelunky and Rouge Legacy will always get my vote. Spelunky is basically the perfect 2D single-run style Rougelike, while Rouge Legacy is incredibly fun and has some persistent elements.

As a camera scientist in training I can say that getting multiple people in a wide shot (at slightly different depths) can be tricky and very lighting/aperture dependent. Even more so if the camera operator has to be in the shot.
