If "Clueless" is a beloved teen classic, do you think that "Ten Things I Hate About You" is also a teen classic? I would think that "16 Candles" is and, of course, "Mean Girls". I am curious about what other films are beloved teen classics.
I am new to Minecraft, but seeing Jan's version running I decided to see about modding the graphics up a notch. I am using a few years old 1060 card. I followed some guides on YouTube and got it looking pretty sweet, though.
I just need to find a good UI mod next to complete my limited upgrade.
@jasperkazai: Thanks. I had to do a little bit of extra research to see how to add it on an iPhone, but your instructions pointed me in the right direction. Now I have three, sometimes four (the aftershow is spotty) GB podcasts to listen to each week.
The Hotspot needs to continue as its own podcast. It reminds me of the days when all of GB was working out of SF.
I agree. I started listening to video game podcasts with The Hotspot back in 2006. My only misgiving is because it's a premium podcast, I can't just use iTunes to stream it during my commute.
Your best Sims video since 13 Deadly ended. I love it when things are crazy and you're virtually juggling cats. The Quick Looks are a little more restrained, a little more focused on the content being presented, but not this. Hilarious and entertaining. I look forward to the next installment.
I am a mess of emotions right now. I will miss Dan’s chaotic energy, his enthusiasm and the sincere joy for life he brought to both coasts of Giant Bomb during his tenure with the site. I accept that life is about change and sometimes that means letting go of the things we love. I wish him the very best of luck as he moves forward.
Weirdest damn episode ever. It made me feel like I was out for dinner and I could clearly overhear the people at the table next to mine have a conversation that I was not part of. Fascinating but also uncomfortable.
This reminded me immediately of "A - Alligators All Around" from 1975's Really Rosie TV special from Maurice Sendak featuring music by Carole King. Suddenly, I was five-years old again. This game looks charming and I am so happy it exists.
I turned on my Amazon Fire TV and saw the still of Dan in his gold jacket and Abby in the monkey suit, and I thought "What the hell is this?" Then I remember, "Oh yes, this is why I tune in the Giant Bomb. This insanity." Speaking of insanity, those rules. I am going to need a chart to follow along, please.
