Oh fuck you Macross :( (episode 18)

That shook me up too way back when I first saw the episode, albeit the Robotech edit. I've seen the proper one since, and it's still heartfelt.

Looking ahead to the new season this Fall, two things immediately jump out at me. First and foremost, One-Punch Man. My current favorite manga, so I am excited to see it brought to life (so to speak). Second is new YuruYuri. I found the first season of this series surprising. It was hilarious and one of the best of Summer 2011. I'll also be looking forward to new Lupin III, Young Black Jack and another (hopefully not too depressing) Gundam.

I really like digital, but something needs to be done about storage on the PS4. I am at capacity already with my console and I don't have that many games! I mean, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare takes 50 gigs alone. Sony needs to allow gamers to use external hard drives like on the Xbox so we don't need to go through the process of swapping out internal drives. I really don't want to have to download and install 450 gigs of games again on a 2 terabyte drive.

Jeff could sell me chicken, and I don't know, maybe some sides, too.

Guardians of the Galaxy was the most Star Wars-like movie I've seen since Star Wars. The movies are kind of the same, but different enough. In the end, GotG gave me that same sense of joy I hadn't quite experience since 1983.

As for the next phase, I'm interested in Captain Marvel and another Guardians, but I'm undecided on the rest of the line-up. Last year, I started reading comics again. On top of that, there's at least a half dozen superhero TV shows this fall, so between the two, I don't need as many movies. Still, Hollywood has a whole slew of them lined up through 2020. I'm pretty sure by then, I'll be burned out on the genre and looking something else. Who knows, maybe Westerns will come back in fashion.

@berserker976: I just Googled "Persona 5 release" and it was in the first article that popped up. Researching now a little deeper I see that the article posted 3 days ago referenced an interview from March of this year, so its speculation might just be click-bait. Color me the fool. Still, like others have said, I'll believe it's out in 2015 when it's in my cold, dead hands.

In Japan, yes. Internationally, no. There's been some mixed messages coming out of Atlus concerning the North American release. The PR people say 2015, but reports are the director is saying they need more time. I would love for the game to come out this year, but I am still expecting a 2016 release.

I think it had something to do with the game design itself. You can't ask five people to play together where the loss of even one due to dropout or bad connection can destroy the game for all. A proper competitive game can continue to be fun even when the teams are imbalanced. With Evolve, if one of the hunter players drops, the game becomes harder; if the monster drops, the whole thing's a bust.

The first game was successful and is coming to consoles...I don't understand why they need a Kickstarter.

I like Dragon Quest better than Final Fantasy. DQV is one of my all-time favorite games. I am so ready for a new DQ game and if (please oh please) Square brings it to the States, I will definitely pick it up. Not sure if I want it on 3DS or PS4, though. I am currently leaning handheld.

I've played KOTOR at least a half dozen times over the years, and it remains my favorite game of all time. I was less impressed with KOTOR II when I encountered it a decade or so ago. I had no interest in going back for many years, and when I heard about the restoration patch I decided to wait until it was complete. Now that this final version is out I'll have to take that long overdue second look. I picked up a copy of the game during that Humble Bundle Star Wars sale. Time to install.
