I'm done, can't find it even with hamster's help, this is the description of someone who looks for the same game:
It was a PC game set in a forest. The title was something like "evergreen forest" or "forest of greenwood". The visuals were a mixture of real photos and sorta 3D characters and stuff. The main character was a girl in a yellow dress with short dark hair- I think- although the game was played in first person. All you had to do was click on compass directions to navigate, the screen would change and there was a mans voice saying the compass directions-i think it was meant to be educational. You solved puzzles and stuff, and there was a guy I'm sure was in a purple mecha suit or something like that-like the villain in toy story-he was evil I'm sure. One time you had to pick up a sign or something but it was like "he's nearby" or something, and sometimes it would show his face on the screen. There was loads of characters, they were all on the front of the box for the game. There was a sun, and a talking tree who was really big and you had to help him. There was also a bit where you went into a shed or something and had to solve a code, and I remember we all used to get stuck on that bit. There was voice acting I'm sure, because of the man saying the directions and also the tree talked I think.
hey is Hamster still active on this forum or did he died? I asked him about a game years ago, and because I was a stupid kid, I never asked him how he did, I'm still wondering how he did it? In case I want to search for myself.
