Mass Effect 2 (I want to fight me some Reapers!) Elder Scrolls V (I'd say it's about time for it) New micro-expansions for Sins of a Solar Empire (love the micro-expansions idea and I'm super excited for Entrenchment this month) New content for Team Fortress 2 (still have a few more classes left to update, and Meet the X videos to make)
Overall, though, I'm just happy with the return to the spectacle of years past. Maybe it's not so great for the journos, but I (the average jackass at home watching it play out on the various sites) am going to love it, I'm sure.
I'm an addict too. I bought Bioshock on Steam when it was $4.99, knowingthat my computer doesn't have the horsepower to run it at an acceptable, playable framerate.
I'm going to upgrade it...eventually...and when I do, Bioshock'll be waiting for me! For now, though, it's just a little icon on my My Games list waiting to be installed and played.
I just started up again after a 3-month love affair about this same time last year, and I gotta say it's great to be back, especially with the new updates released and on the horizon. It's my multiplayer comfort game.
I want the caltrops from TFC back. Those things were awesome and would be really useful to the Scout as he's used now. Just drop a few behind you while you're flag running and slow down anybody chasing you.
I'm excited. At the very least it'll give me an excuse to blow the dust off Spore and get to playing it again. I really hope they give creature and civ stages some love, though. They need it much more than the space stage, IMO.
I'm getting an Xbox 360 for Christmas too (about damn time!), and I've been looking around for games to get as well. There's a huge back catalog of games I've missed for sure, but here are a few good, cheap games from years past that I'm interested in getting:
- Perfect Dark Zero - Saint's Row (1 & 2) - Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter (1 & 2) - Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas (1 & 2) - Condemned (1 & 2) - Mass Effect - The Darkness - Any of a number of good-quality XBLA titles and compatible Xbox titles that I missed, seeing as I never had one of them either.
