The game I'm trying to remember the name of is a music/audio puzzle game, probably for the PC, that came out sometime between 2012 and 2017 I think. Vinny talked about it on the podcast and I remember him saying it was really difficult in the end and he spent like 3 hours on a single puzzle. If I recall correctly it has some modular synth type of gameplay where you have oscillators, LFOs, envelopes and filters and stuff that you need to connect together. Pretty sure it had 2D graphics. Thanks!
Love the new flow of the website. Especially the new podcast page(finding podcast in the old one is no fun) and the new search, which is super quick! I have some feedback for y'all:
There are two things that bug me about the search results. First, there are two types of hover states: one for when hovering the list item and one for when hovering the link inside the list item. I think it would be better to just have one for the whole list item. Second, you have to click the link to go to the results. If you click on the list item(the background of it for example) the results simply disappear and that makes me sad. :(
I like the more modern look of the site, but there are some things about the styling that bug me (though I'm sure you guys are going to polish it up). But I'm nit-picky and I was bored at work so I made some changes with a CSS extension on Chrome and wrote some notes. You can check them out here if you're interested.
Here's a list of most games I've bought while watching or immediately after watching a QL of them:
Altitude
Audiosurf
Catacomb Kids
Banished
Besiege
Cities: Skylines
Cook, Serve, Delicious
Dustforce
Enter The Gungeon
FTL: Faster Than Light
Greed Corp
Iron Fisticle
Jazzpunk
Papers, Please
Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe
Wizorb
I enjoyed all of those games. My 3 favorite of those are probably Banished, Cook, Serve, Delicious, and Iron Fisticle. I really liked all three and they are all games I probably wouldn't have discovered on my own.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot was pretty good. I liked it. Tina Fey was pretty good in it, I've mostly seen her on 30 Rock so it was cool to see her in a more serious role. 9 Afghanistans out of 13.
