Nice list. MS Flight Simulator was my #2 as well! Downloading Spiritfarer on Gamepass right now. Going in blind.

It's awesome to see some love for Immortals Fenyx Rising. That was probably the biggest surprise of the year for me with how decent it is, especially for an Ubisoft open world game.

Also nice to see Ori on your list.

I really need to check out Minecraft RTX. Quake II RTX really impressed me.

Great list Brad. Love the writing.

The Zone never disappoints.

Awesome seeing Shadowrun Returns on the list. I need another turn based isometric RPG to play after how good Wasteland 3 was. Would love to play though Shadowrun Returns again; it's been a while.

Nice to see Dark Pictures Anthology get a shout out. Really enjoyed that along with Man of Medan. Still think they have to live up to how good Until Dawn is though.

I'd recommend No Mans Sky in VR if you have a headset available. It adds so much immersion and makes space travel that much more astonishing.

Lastly, I'm really impressed you got as far as you did in Cyberpunk 2077 without many gun fights. Tried playing stealth for my two playthroughs, but it broke too many times so ended up with some powerful guns and melee weapons. Silencers don't always seem to work right. NPCs would clip through me when trying to hold them to knock them out, therefore allowing them to see me and attack me from behind. Anyway, impressive you didn't have issues with stealth. There's still a good game there!

So when's Windjammers 2 out?

Am I on Screened or Giant Bomb?

Just started binge watching The Expanse for the first time and have really been enjoying it. You're right, the CGI isn't always impressive, but over all I think they handle and show the physics in space better than most SciFi shows or movies. The acting has been really good. The politics are interesting. You know you got a good one your hands when once in a while you get that Firefly feeling.

After reading your opinions of Star Trek Discovery, I'm going to watch that after I'm caught up on The Expanse. That's one I've been meaning to watch for a while but have been on the fence.

Thanks for the good read!

I remember the original QL with Ryan playing and oh boy did it run and look like garbage on an XB360. PC was definitely the way to play it back then. This looks a lot better on the modern consoles. Too bad they went Epic exclusive for PC. I got it on Steam and would have loved a free upgrade. Oh well, Saints Row 2 is better anyway. That should get a remaster.

@lonelyspacepanda: Wow, that's so cool. Thanks for sharing! That makes Polyphonic seem even bigger as a group, and I didn't think that was possible. They do rotate members a lot.

By the sound of it, it sure seems like your brother didn't just open up for St. Vincent but played alongside her. I mean technically that's true. Very cool.

There's some excellent music in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I've been escaping NY and going to the Dallas Homegrown Fest for many years now. Seeing Tripping Daisy live again was amazing. It's always a good time and recommend going if you haven't been. That is assuming we'll have live music ever again...

Wow, I had no idea St. Vincent started off with the Polyphonic Spree. They're one of my favorite bands. I've seen them and Tripping Daisy live a lot. Always a good show, great time and excellent music.

Many many years ago, in Upstate NY, I saw a Polyphonic Spree show that had like 20 people in the audience at peak. There were more people in the band than the crowd. It was super weird, but they still brought it and played one of their best shows. During intermission, I was having a break outside and my hero Tim DeLaughter comes up and talked to me for like 10 minutes. It is one of my favorite memories. Have to wonder if St. Vincent was singing with them then...

Anyway, I hope Abby gets to play Fortnite with one of her heroes. Rooting for you.
