Compared to what? Movies? I'm going to go ahead and say, at this point in time, that the average video game is better written than the average movie. Movies are fucking shit now, as is TV. If you care about hearing a good, original story, you're kind of out of luck.

Male rape comes up all the time. It's used as a threat all the time. Your argument is invalid. I would go so far as to say the threat of rape is used more against men than women in media.

Wizard. Absolutely hate every other class. Demon Hunter is okay I guess but I think the abilities look dumb, albeit nowhere near as dumb as the remaining classes

I've been saying since MW2 that the next fad will be "slightly future warfare", and that's pretty much what we're seeing. Crysis games, BLOPS2, etc. in 3 years EA will release Battlefield 2143 and that will signify the death of that fad.

I don't like the new alien enemies, they looked dumb. As a result I'm not sure I'm that interested. Also, I don't really like the idea of exploring forerunner stuff. It worked good as background stuff in the games, but I don't care enough about it for it to be what the games about. I just think it's better as a mystery because I have significant doubts that they can come up with twists or answers that aren't lame, to explain them.

I don't understand how people can either love or hate the characters of GOW. You're having emotions toward what might as well be a piece of cardboard, because those "characters" aren't even characters.. they're just cutouts with generic stats.

@murisan: You should change your download location in Steam. If you're not maxing your connection from Steam, you're probably downloading from a high-population location. You can change it in the settings.
