I'll add to the other voices: I like this format. It's pretty cool to see. I also like that there is still a quick look. They make a good pair. It does what GB does best: Use the personalities we like, let's us listen to what they think and then we can make our own choice while watching the quick look.
@hughj: Except my point was simply wouldn't it be cool to have maybe one woman on a panel of all dudes? Is that so amazingly radical? Gender discrepancy in this field has always been glaring. So, yeah, Abby, who has become a personality on GB... I'm saying I think it would be real cool for her to be on these conferences since she represents a different sort of voice gender wise. I'm not screaming that we need to have some kind of affirmative action. I'm kind of shocked that such an innocuous comment is causing this amount of staunch back raising. Actually, no, check that-- of course I'm not shocked that an innocuous comment like this is torn apart on a video game enthusiast board since I've been dealing with it for decades. Anyway, I get what you're saying, I disagree and per usual I hear the same old defenses. I never called anyone racist, sexist or anything of the kind. But I stand by everything I've said.

So that's my point-- Vinny was always on. Anyway, it's of course not feasible to have everyone on. But... Maybe have the one woman on camera? As you say, they could always do it with Vinny (my absolute favorite bomber of all time). Anyway, I'm not trying to start a fight here. I've been following Giant Bomb since the beginning, it just felt pretty glaring to me. And also, I've been doing film and video production for almost 2 decades, I understand the difficulties. But they've allowed her to be a personality as they did Vinny, I'd just love to see her on camera. Anyway, let's drop this before the MRAs come out of the wood work and start screaming at me. It was a one off comment to start off with.
@assirra: Fair enough. I just really like her commentary and she has both produced and talked before. I'm not trying to be a dick, I just really enjoy her input. And wouldn't kill everything to have one non-dude in there, right?
