I wish the best for Giant Bomb. Even extended my sub til Jan 2023 to show my support during this transitional era. I must admit that today is hard for me financially as it is for most people who subscribed to Giant Bomb. I hoped to grow with Giant Bomb as they did when a lot of staff started their own families. Unfortunately, life doesn't really go as planned. All good things must come to an end. The WFH era doesn't provide the same value for premium as it did for me prior to the pandemic. I wish they can all go back into an office and warm our monitors, earbuds, and tvs with their awesome chemistry, knowledge, and creativity. But that does not seem like it'll happen moving forward. If I wanted to watch twitch-like streams I would just watch a streamer for free or support them with $5 for a tier 1 month subscription.

I admit that I haven't watch any Giant Bomb content since a recent "We Talk Over" event, but that's because I just don't find myself happy with the content, let alone premium content. I'm torn. I love Giant Bomb. I will forever love Giant Bomb. The staff provided much more than entertainment during my dark days, but I don't feel that warm fuzzy feeling when watching the newer content. I hate to say it, but I find the same connections I had with Giant Bomb with the streamers I follow on Twitch. When it comes time to renew my sub in January, I don't think I will if Giant Bomb continues down this road unfortunately.

I enjoyed most of what GBeast and Brad put out over the years. I thought that they would all stay with the site forever, but the writing was on the wall. While I'm on the verge of bawling my eyes out for another day since hearing the news, I hope that everyone can rest easy after they all cemented their legacy with the last Beastcast. I know that I'm selfish for wanting them to stay forever, but that's because Vinny, Brad, and Alex always brought an genuine air to everything they do. A lost art especially in these times of video game coverage. It's hard because I want them to keep on going with the site, but I understand that they are normal people with normal lives behind the curtains. I don't know how to cope outside of seeing what the future brings with next week's Giant Bombcast.

Anyways, much love and good luck to Vinny, Brad, and Alex. You changed my life, from my depressing days of college to my current days of adulthood. You were the only voices heard during my lulls of travel. You all deserve a round of applause, cheers of encore, and finally some rest.

re:zero. Definitely not a fan of it, but watched it because I was going to record a podcast about it. Ended up ditching that effort after realizing what they were trying to portray with the main character.

We aren't really missing the content from Vanilla Destiny 2. I understand why they need to gut it. I wish they would build on top of it. Destiny 2 suffered from being as wide as an ocean, but deep as a puddle. Why build all these beautiful set pieces and worlds without doing anything to it? Why not have some story justification that the Leviathan tried to swallow all these planets and blew up because of it? And then have the Sundial reintroduce the Leviathan raids and raid lairs.

Bungie needs to have fun blowing up their worlds. If they can reintroduce Destiny 1 content, they can surely be creative and blow up Destiny 2 content as well.

At the end of the day, I'm not gonna miss Mercury being absolutely subpar. Titan was a bummer too. Mars had some fun Escalation Protocol stuff, but the story missions were already gutted. If they are going to sunset weapons then there isn't really a need to grind out for the Ikelo Shotgun on Mars.

@voidstrike: I think they said on the bombcast they are aware of the issue and just vote for Destiny 2 and they understand you are voting for the DLC/Expansion
