Watch some of the Endurance Run. If you like what you see, try it. If not, move on. Asking a community who formed in large part around a series of videos based on the game is asking an incredibly loaded question.
I was a child once, long ago. When I was young,I frequented BBSes and, later, message boards, and people respected me. I have no problem giving young people these days the same chance. Maturity, unfortunately, is not something that just comes naturally with age; some have it at an early age, others never seem to develop it at all.
Without sarcasm, irony or any of that shit, Bayonetta is one of my favorite games. Ever. God damn that ending is fantastic.
I second this sentiment. Such a fantastic game and I was especially surprised by how much I enjoyed it due to the fact it's not in my usual wheelhouse (that being rpgs and fighting games, mainly). I was not a fan of God of War and I was fairly neutral about the original Devil May Cry, so I wasn't going into Bayonetta expecting to have it ending up on my all-time favorites list. Just goes to show that it never hurts to give games in genres you're not familiar with or particularly fond of a chance.
Bob is awesome but Id argue the disco stage is just a tad better.
I'm with ya there. Both moments were fantastic, but the disco stage just resonated with me a little more. The boss fight at the end of it, though, was pretty underwhelming. Bob was definitely the best boss battle.
Man, this thread brought out the dick attitudes. Bravo internet heroes.
Sorry you couldn't find a copy in your area OP.
Even I'm feeling that way about this thread, and I can be pretty dickish in threads sometimes. But maybe it's cause I'm looking forward to a sequel, myself. *shrugs*
You're not wrong, but did this need a thread? Okay, so you were underwhelmed, great. So was I. I still enjoyed it, as did you by the sounds of it. So what's the point in creating a stand-offish thread about it?
I exist because I am. I am because I exist. This thread is because it exists. Phil Jackson.
So ultimately, what you're saying is there is no point to this thread. Alright then. Well as long as you learn from your mistakes. :)

Good list! I was gifted Analog: A Hate Story for xmas so it's nice to hear that it's on par with her Digital game. I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment of both Digital, and Don't Take it Personally (Seriously, stopping the game and forcing me to check the 90 missed texted on my phone because you want to call my character a stalker? Come on now).
One day I shall play Virtue's Last Rewaard. One day.
