I just want to start out by saying I like Mary, she is funny and knowledgeable. But I do find that drawl(i think it's called) she sometimes has super annoying. I have a kinda "rubbing styrofoam" reaction to it. It's not her fault or anything, I just have a weird problem with it.
I have the same reaction to a dialect called Skånska here in Sweden.
Americans talking about Pizza like they know what they are talking about, actually hillarious. I've been to Naples in Italy and eaten pizza there. I've also eaten pizza in america. Let me tell you, you don't know what you're talking about when it comes to pizza if based on the pizza made there.
That said, authentic Italian pizza ruined pizza for me here in Sweden as well for a few years, even though it's far closer to the actuall thing then what's sold as pizza in america. I doubt the japaneese are fucking it up much worse then the americans are.
This game seems really strange to me and makes me kind of uncomfortable, especially because I live in the bay area. It's so strange that they have this like... punk-rock-kids-fighting-against-the-squares goofy style and attitude... and then they whip out the guns and start murdering people.
Like... I am no fan of the SFPD. But I don't want to shoot them? You know? It's one thing when it's fake GTA satire cops... but like when they are supposed to be real cops, it just feels different.
And see them walk around in recreations of the places I see every day IS cool. But then whipping out a handgun and seeing people running away in fear kinda isn't. Am I crazy here? It just feels different.
EDIT: Also I love that Dan has lived here for years and barely knows the city.
Seems like you have problems differentiating between fiction and reality, kid. Do you have problems watching The Rock or any other movies or tv-shows that take place in a city or area you lived in.
I personally never understood it when people have issues with things like this or violence in movies because, simply, it's not real. Like watching the ISIS execution videos and shit like that yeah, it's fucking disgusting and horrible and I will never watch one again for as long as I live. But movies, tv-shows or games? No, not a problem in the slightest. Watching people jump to their deaths from the burning WTC brings tears to my eyes and I can hardly watch it without feeling sick. Throwing people off buildings in a video game, I just laugh my ass off.
That tablet remote thing seems awful, hopefully it doesn't become common with newer TVs. Forced use of Google services to control your TV is dumb. I had to use an app for a while to control my xbmc box and it felt so much better when I got an IR receiver and went back to using a remote with actual buttons.
The only reason they had to use google services was becasue Brad connected it to the internet and it found an update for the remote app. You can just have it connected to the TV and that's it.
And everyone has a google account already so what's the problem? The reason the GB guys didn't want to connect their accounts to it is because it wasn't their personal TV and it is in a work space with lots of people around.

How 'bout $0 since the end result is the same. You get no money because you are dead. Lava is molten rock and anything that is hot enough to melt rock will instantly burn through a human.
Just being wthin a radious of 10km(6miles) to the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius killed you instantly if you were hit by a pyroclastic flow(heat surge).

For someone lika Dan, who is already active and regularly exercises it's not unhealthy. Doing it over a long period is however or if he let's his weight fluctuate then it could be unhealthy.
Just eating right and regular exercise would see you loosing a lot of weight. And going by what Dan said, he is doing just that.
And usually when you start dieting, the weight drops pretty fast in the begining and then it tapers off, especially when you start building muscle.
I never actually thought about it but since it's so natural to you as a finnish person but our swear words are fucking stupid when translated. That said, they are the most awesome sounding swear words in the world when spoken.
And a finnish person who sais he/she doesn't swear is a fucking liar. We just put vittu in every sentence to give it more character and sprinkle in a bit of saatana or perkelen where appropriate(e.g. when you've gone without saying vittu for a couple of words). Even my mom swears when angrily shouting at me for swearing so much.
I played Shenmue when the second one came out for the Xbox. I didn't want to play the second one before the first one so I asked a friend of mine that had a DC and the game if I could borrow them and he just said "Really? Are you sure?" I just said yes and he said I will have a time to remember playing it.
Then I played it and while it was amazing with all the little things you could do in the game and the attention to detail, the amazement quickly faded. The game was incredably tedious and boring as well as it had horrendous acting and the story was poor. I powered through since "everyone" on the internet was cuming all over the place when talking about the game but I quickly realised that they were all idiots. Shenmue was a bad game.
After i finished it(Yes, I finished it since I was young and didn't have that many games) I promtly went back to my friend and gave back the game and console. He just smirked at me and I called him an asshole.
I'm glad the game holds up in being shit. Having Vinny, Alex and Dan talk over the game makes it 100 times better.
