@hassun: I would think that this was just a way to drum up excitement for the game rather then fund it. They most likely have financial backers(a publisher or something) on the ready to help them out if they can prove interrest in the game. The goal they set for the kickstarter wouldn't even pay salery for a dev team for this year, let alone untill october 2016. Add to that gear, rent, licenses and whatnot and that money wouldn't last for more then a few months, if that, it's not possible that the kickstarter money is their only source of funding.

Well, several people I know have Xbox Ones. It's about 50/50 for the people I know. More people bought Xboxes now then last gen and all said that the exclusives for PS4 are shit so they can wait a year or two on a PS4. This was my thinking too so I bought a Xbox at launch. Even though the exclusives are still pretty much shit, I bought a PS4 last month.

Again, this if not all of Europe or Sweden(where I live), just my circle of friends and relatives.

I've been playing MCC for a week now and haven't had any problems with the single player portion and as of the weekend haven't had much problems getting into MP games. Every now and then there is a long wait, up to 5min but since I'm watching shit on my tablet at the same time it doesn't really bother me.

Got no one to blame but myself, but I bought an Xbox One for this and I'm pretty cheesed off. What pains me most is that it seems that releasing broken AAA games is becoming an acceptable habit. I can't blame the devs for this though, we all know it's all down to some asshat in a suit pushing for the release date regardless of if it's ready or not. Pre order culture is largely at fault I think, publishers are already swimming in a mountain of cash before a game is even released.

Perhaps I have been lucky but I haven't really had any AAA games being broken since Fallout New Vegas. I do play a lot of games and buy a minimum of one game a month. But apart from server issues with games like Destiny and Diablo 3, for example, I haven't come across anything that really pisses me off. Granted I don't play Battlefield games anymore(not since BF2) and didn't touch Sim City, two of the most broken games in recent memory.

I bought the MCC to play through the story of those games so I've had zero problems except for one achievement that didn't pop. I played maybe five games online and got into games three times pretty fast but had to try about 2-3 times to get in on the other two times.

Also, I'm guessing you are not referring to the MCC when you talk about AAA games but if you are I just want to say, I hardly count rereleased and remastered games as AAA, not in the sense the internet qualifies AAA, meaning quality and hyped, not the marketing term that it is.

But since you have a Xbox One now I would say buy Sunset Overdrive and play that until MCC matchmaking is fixed. It's one of the best, most fun, games this year. Definitely the most fun I've had with a game this year.

Proud owner of a 'bone now! :D :(

I have no restraint.

Anyway playing through halo:ce while multi's borked and love the near 60fps but thought it'd be a tiny bit better looking. Also somewhat antiquated control throwing me for a loop but that's Halo for yaand me not having played this series in awhile. Im just hoping this and FH2 don't end up on PC or ill be kicking myself, at least until some more hot scloosies come out.

I think you're safe. Both first-party games, MS killed GFW without really replacing it and is currently trailing PS4 in total sales, so far as I am aware. Maybe they'll try the whole selling and publishing games on PC thing again on Windows 9Windows 10 Windows Start Menu Edition.

It's almost like they could put some hooks into their own operating system and have a game app that can launch games from any service (with their requisite overlays), getting all your game libraries and organising them in one place, and also sell you games direct through said app from MS in another tab with a version of Live that isn't total garbage and maybe end up making some money off games on their own platform. They could even make a new Freelancer. I'd make some shitty snarky comment about how none of this is going to happen but I'm just bummed out. Freelancer was the best.

Obviously you never used Windows 8 but just like bitching about it. They have put Xbox as a service on Windows and they sell games with Xbox integration on the store. You would know this if you ever used W8.

The power of the cloud!

Why someone would take a day off of work on day 1 of a heavily multiplayer focused game, I have no idea. Learn from the past or repeat it. Take Friday off or something and make a 3 day weekend out of it, should be fixed by then.

Speaking of the power of the cloud; all my achievement progress got wiped for Xbox One games. Was about to unlock a couple in Titanfall and the next thing I know, all my progress was set to 0% and wasn't moving. Like that for all my games now.

The power of the cloud...

Yeah... Only reason that would happen if you were breaking some rules. Loosing save data I have heard about, loosing all of your achievement progress for no reason, no.

And speaking of the power of the cloud, I haven't lost any saves or had any account problems whatsoever since they started cloud saves on the 360. Also, never had problems with Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive either. So yeah, the cloud is fucking awesome.

Was it really such a big deal to not being able to watch Netflix and shit without gold? I mean, aren't those who use Xbox for games already gold members?

I have never really understood the uproar about it to be honest. Yeah I get that some people use it as their streaming box or whatever. But that's just stupid when you can get any number of devices to do the same for a fraction of the price. And if you use it for games as well then you most likely have gold.

This has always been a non issue for me. Even if the Xbox One would have come out as originally planned it wouldn't've changed my gaming habits in the slightest. May be I'm just the ideal target market for when it comes to games.

..."free games, monthly deals, and other great benefits." Again, Microsoft appears to be taking cues from Plus.

Well, it's just Games with Gold coming over to Xbox One.

@luck702: Zenimax isn't Bethesdas publisher, they own the company. If Zenimax goes bankrupt, so does Bethesda

Nintendo should just go the way of Sega and just make games for other platforms.

Look how well that worked out for Sega!

They are still around. If they would have continued making hardware the company would be dead today. So yes, it did work out well.
