The Good: -493 different Pokemon -wifi trading and battling -excellent replay value -tougher battles require good strategy -good graphics for a Pokemon game, or any DS game for that matter The Bad: -Story isn't very engaging but at par for Pokemon games -Would have been nice to explore Hoenn like you could explore Kanto in Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal Having not played Pokemon since the Gold/Silver/Crystal days I decided to pick up Pearl just on a whim because it was on sale. An awesome fusion of both RPG and action elements 0
The good: -Combines RPG elements with high action battles very effectively. -Lots of side quests and optional boss fights. -The new tag chip system works well and makes combos easier. -Difficulty is just right. -A good ending to an even better series. The bad: -Fairly similar to past Battle Network games so if you have never enjoyed the series you probably wont now. -This is a pet peeve of mine but right before the final boss this high urgency music starts playing.
