Wow, love these. Really awesome.
I did this one around the time Blood Dragon came out and TNT was still a thing.

Can't wait to see more amazing artwork.

I always get nervous in (under)water sections when I know there are sharks (or other aggressive sea creatures) lurking around. The underwater sequences in Tomb Raider scared me when I was younger, but even swimming around in GTAV made me a little bit anxious. I still blame Steven Spielberg.

I absolutely love BioShock (one of my favourite games ever), but I can understand the passionate love for Dark Souls. I don't know if it's "fair" to treat BioShock as a mediocre game tough just because it has more mainstream appeal. But I guess it speaks to Dark Souls that it invokes so much love despite (or because) being so punishing and broken in parts.

It always seems a bit weird to me to automatically (really) 'hate' something of which you don't understand the appeal. I'm fascinated by the whole MOBA community and games, but I don't think I could ever play them because they seem to demand a pretty high degree of devotion and the barrier to entry is very steep. Also, I don't have the skills.

I really feel for Fish. He probably evoked a good amount of people because of his outspoken persona, but that's also a byproduct of his large amount of, creative, passion. That doesn't justify his sometimes unguided responses on twitter and in the media, but that's also the reason why people love (and hate) him. I can't imagine pouring your heart and soul into something for 4-5 years and then being berated ad hominem for creating that and being outspoken about your love for videogames. I guess that's part of the internet and being a creative persona, but still. I understand why people don't like Fish but I really don't get the outpouring of hate on the Polytron website.

It's been amazing to see the community create so much cool stuff and bond even closer together over such a sad event so I had to add a little tribute of my own. I've read a lot of amazing heartfelt blogpost so I don't have much to add to that. I do like to say that I feel really proud to be part of this awesome community and to have witnessed Ryan at the top of his game. Thank you Ryan, you will be sorely missed <>.

Also Darksiders 2 for me. I actually kinda liked the opening portions of the game, but I had to stop playing around the gun/shooting/walking turret section that lasted so incredibly long. One of the few games I started but never finished.

These sum up a lot of my feelings right now pretty well.

I'm literally crying right now. Rest in peace Ryan. Thank you for all the laughs, the wise words and the good timesI've had from listening to and watching you. When I listen to a Bombcast or watch a Quick Look, I never feel like I'm just absorbing content, I feel like I'm hanging out with friends. And this feels like losing a friend.

I've never been so affected by the loss of someone I've never met, I've spent literally months of my life listening to Ryan and the rest of the team, so sad.

Considering there won't be a new Bioshock for a very long time (or at all) I'd love for them to take their time on each piece. 6-9 months per DLC? SURE! That means a lot of smaller Bioshock content over a short period, and if they are similar to Minerva's Den style of DLC, then even better.

Totally agree. Rather see them crafting some substantial story DLC like Minerva's Den or Dishonored's The Knife of Dunwall than cranking out a simple horde mode. I still expect one or more of those DLC pieces to be a combat arena type deal though. Maybe a timed rail race combat thing or something.
