Over the past years I've had problems with panic attacks. Back in 2016 I had trouble with my apartment and worries about my elderly father's health. Amid some of the worst panic attacks of my life, I moved home to help care for him. Needless to say this historic outbreak has me out of my mind. Even when I first saw the news from China, I was already having awful panic attacks.

I mention this in particular here because I ordered a certain book online, one I've been meaning to read. Anxiety As An Ally by a certain Dan Rykert. In addition to talking to my doctor and a therapist, reading Dan's story about his struggles have helped me. It gave me some perspective and felt less alone to hear someone else dealing with similar problems. So as we stay home, I had some good reading material in addition to some GB streams to watch.

Seems CDPR heard the complaints about that awful cover art. This fixed version is much less of an eyesore. This one is set at night and looks way more cyberpunk. When I saw that first one, I just thought, "I never asked for this."

I'd like to jam my logs.

I can always fall back on local beers like Sam Adams and Harpoon.

Even in fall I still go for summery sour ales and lambics. Rodenbach's Alexander and sours are great. A Flemish beer named Dutchess DeBourgogne is afantastic sour.

For a light drink I like mixing Guiness and a cider half and half.

Allagash is great. Alagash white is a regular for me. Portland has too much to see, especially for food spots.

3D Printing?! Bah. Kids today. Back in my day we made a vac mold with a shop vac.

Okay. I never did. Though a friend did. Forget if he ever did Star Wars armor, but he did use it to make a robot suit when I saw it. I think he used a heating coil from an old oven on his vac mold.

It all returns to lasagna.

I'm trying not to. Not as much anyway. I was hitting it up almost daily. I find even when it's frustrating, it works almost more as a vent for life's frustrations too. I guess that's a good point of Rogue-lite-like-apus games.

I've also gotten every achievement save for two, one of which is beating the game with three boss orbs in play.

Made me realize how far gone into it I am. Jeff didn't even have the teleport rune.
