Collector's Edition Games

Games that I have in Collector's Edition form.

List items

  • Mainly purchased for the Ezio figure.

  • Got it for the Jack in the Box, duh!

  • Technically known as the "Ultimate Edition." It includes (another) Ezio figure, but I was mainly interested in the Da Vinci Flying Machine.

  • I think the flag is pretty cool, and the statue isn't half bad either. Not too keen on the belt buckle though. What's with these Collector's Edition games including belt buckles in the first place? First Uncharted 3 and now AC 3. Is there some sort of link between people who wear belt buckles and people who buy collector's edition games? I would have much preferred a soundtrack, or even one of the tiny art "books."

  • Come on! One of the biggest releases of 2011, aside from maybe Skyrim. (that I'm interested in) I don't think I need to justify getting this in Collector's Edition form.

I even got myself a Kotobukiya Catwoman statue to stand next to the Batman one that came with the CE. ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0045WEHYY ) I actually like the Catwoman statue more then the Batman one that came with the game. They should have put her in the CE instead!

  • The Vinyls, Art book, and posters were the clinchers for me.

  • Mainly got it for the figures and in-game stuff. The box is pretty cool too.

  • The Death mask is easily one of the coolest CE extras of any game that I've bought so far.

  • One of the funniest and most creative Collector's Editions ever made.

  • This is a pretty slick CE. I really like the box for some reason. The white and gold aren't what you'd expect from a Diablo box. But as far as the contents go, it's pretty much your standard CE: Art Book, Soundtrack, BTC DVD, some sort of statue. I especially like the Art Book and Diablo statue/Soulstone USB drive. It's also pretty cool that the USB drive has both Diablo 1 & 2 on it. (even though I already had them) Other game companies need to take note of how the Art Book is presented in this CE. It's an actual BOOK; not those tiny little things with ten pages most games try to pass off as books.

  • I HAD to get the Collector's Edition because this is my FGOAT.

  • The Collector's Edition of this game is quite small. I think it just had a replica "septim" (coin) and maybe some special DVD stuff.

  • Definitely the largest Collector's Edition game I've ever bought. The box for this thing is massive. The dragon statue is pretty cool, but I really like the worn and weathered book and the semi-cloth/leather map.

  • I mainly got the Collector's Edition of this for the in-game stuff. But the three coins that came with it are pretty cool too.

  • Lunchbox, Pip-Boy Bobblehead, Artbook, etc. Plus it's my 4th favorite game of all time.

  • Lots of neat stuff in this CE. A book, poker chips, playing cards, a bonus DVD, cool in-game extras, etc.

  • Got the CE for all the extra cars.

  • Technically "Ultimate Edition." Pandora's Box replica was reason enough to get this one.

  • There's nothing really special about this Collector's Edition. The most useful thing is actually the little book that lists all the cars. But I suppose the die-cast car, certificate of authenticity and key-chain are also pretty cool. The special cars aren't bad either.

  • I got this mainly for the Cole figure and the replica messenger bag, which is totally awesome.

  • N7 Collector's Edition. It doesn't contain many physical extras, but it does include some nice digital extras. Including the full soundtrack, the first DLC pack and various weapons and armor sets. As for the physical items, we get the obligitory collector's tin, a postcard with the Normandy on it, a mini comic book, and an N& Velcro patch.

  • I don't think this CE needs justification. Tons of awesome things inside here.

  • I got this CE for the little USB stick. That's about it.

  • Thank you, Bioware for including a security key generator. Smart, very smart. The statue is pretty cool too.

  • Got it mainly for the figure and the treasure box thingy. This is one of the few games that I'm not totally off-the-wall about that I bought the collector's edition for. My main decision in getting the CE was for the packaged extras. I have no interest in this series outside of the single player portion. Of course, that could be said for any game that isn't an MMO. But for a game with so much focus on the MP aspect, I know I won't get much replay value out of the single player alone.

  • Got it for the art-book.

  • This was one awesome CE. There was a ton of cool stuff in it, and the box is one of the coolest I have. Sucks that the game wasn't as good as what came in the CE.

  • I don't think I need to explain why I got this or the next game as Collector's Editions. Just wish I would have got the original game and Burning Crusade as CE's before they became so hard to find and expensive.

  • This will be my last WoW purchase. No Mists of Kung Fu Panda Pokemon for me.
