Was replaying Mass Effect in order to have a better Mass Effect 2 experience (Wrex died in my first playthrough of Mass Effect, needed to fix that), and since I put the difficulty on easy, I never had to worry about dying at all.  Since I never needed to worry about dying at all, I never really needed to worry about saving.

While on a random planet, a Thrasher Maw sprung from the ground, flipping the Mako on it's back.  It wouldn't right itself, I couldn't exit the Mako, and I lay there helplessly while the Maw slowly killed me...robbing me of a lot of progress.

I can't stand Kessler's voice at all.

So I vote no.

I'm sure they do, but I'm not sure if it's as good as MW2's local multiplayer.  You can use your online level in split-screen, and use your online classes.  This is such a huge improvement over being forced to use the default classes, like in Call of Duty 4.

But maybe Killzone and resistance have similar features with local multiplayer?  No idea.

EDIT:  3:44am here.

I don't have that kind of time.  Academia and other responsibilities are a little more pressing.  I'm lucky if I can get a single hour a day during my busy periods.

Seven hours a day, everyday is absolutely insane.  I can understand gaming binges due to a new release, or after finals are over...but a consistent regimen of seven hours of gaming a day is a problem.

I used to be on anti-depressants and saw a psychiatrist for pretty severe depression back in....junior year of high school?  I really disliked my shrink; she was very distant, couldn't relate to anyone, and I wasn't comfortable opening up to her at all.  I also disliked taking medication; I did not like the thought that good feelings were artificial and administered.  I reasoned that I would rather be depressed than worry about any happiness coming from medication as opposed to my own ability to handle my life.

So I stopped taking the pills without telling my parents, waited for two months before telling them--demonstrating that the pills weren't needed and thus I didn't need to keep seeing my shrink, since she wrote my prescriptions.

Of course, my problems weren't solved; I was still depressed.  But I suppose I convinced myself that suffering is noble, and that genuine ennui is preferable to artificial happiness.

Once I transferred to Illinois State from a local community college after my sophomore year of college, I was pretty much "better" at that point.  Life has never been better, and when things aren't rainbows and sunshine, I can deal with it like a big boy.

Dave and Vinny are great.  Sean is okay.  Navarro panders a bit, though.  Kessler and Navarro get on my nerves a bit.

Good to see that Kessler is reigning it in a little bit.  I find his voice insufferable--it sounds like he's trying too hard with everything he says.

Twice now in my three years of college I have woken up thinking to myself, 'Huh.  My term paper is due tomorrow.  I should start that.'

This past fall semester, I wrote a 17-page paper in 10 hours straight at the library and turned it in the next day.  Got an A because I'm amazing.

Rubbed a friend's toothbrush on my junk.

That was more than three years ago, in our senior year of high school.  Still haven't told him.  I'll save it for a toast at his wedding.

My Persona 4 play-through took 90 hours.  That's the longest single player experience I can think of...that I've played through, that is.

I plan on going through Oblivion, though I realize that is kind of The Neverending Story of video games.
