I used to go to /b/ all the time.  Like, waste 2-5 hours everyday in the black hole of the internet.

I stopped cold turkey more than two years ago.  I feel cleaner, purer, cleansed.  I don't recommend anyone go there, and I hate to see any of /b/'s madness here.

As a poor college student who only buys 2-4 games a year, I need to extract the most utility out of my funds as possible.  So I usually only drop money down for games that either have an amazing and/or long single player...or games with amazing multiplayer that I'll play for a long time.  Basically, I either need replay value, or a single experience so good that it's worth $60.

Last game I bought was Super Street Fighter 4, day after release.  Last game I bought before that?  Modern Warfare 2, day after release.  The next game I'll get is (finally) Mass Effect 2, as returning textbooks from my summer class will give me a nice $100 or so.  So my purchases are generally pretty spaced out and I usually have to wait a bit for big titles.

Be up front, and concise.  Something as simple as "I really like you, can we talk about things?" can be a really effective way to start that conversation.

Pretty much all the video reviews have been like that:  rehashings of the text reviews for people too lazy to read the text review.

People moan and complain when they stop doing video reviews (which is dumb, since they add nothing and take away time that could be spent on quick looks), and then they moan and complain when they bring them back.

I hope I won't have to buy a PS3 to play it, but a 360 release is probably a bit too much to ask for.

It's been essentially announced.  What system(s) it'll be on has not.

I used to really enjoy playing Halo 3 only for yelling at people.  I don't even really like Halo; just agitating 13 year-olds.  So I guess I yelled this specifically at a person, rather than the game, but it's amusing either way.

Some person had the gamertag of cowboy187, and when he killed me I yelled into my headset, "What the @#$%, cowboy187?  How gay can you be?  Why don't you just go back to MAN-TANA and @#$% a dude?"

Not one of my better moments, I have since grown as a person.

This might be heretical to many, but I don't like salsa in any form.

For all these reasons and more, I recently sold my PSP and games to buy a SF4 TE fightstick.  It was an easy decision when I realized that I hadn't used my PSP in months and looked forward to no games coming out for it in the near and distant future.

@davidwitten22:   I'd recommend it--it's a really fast read and replaces terrible acting with snappy dialogue.  I thought it was the best thing ever in 7th grade, and it still stands up decently to me eight years later.  It's pulpy and gratuitous, which I think is okay.  Not everything I read has to be Hemingway.

Also, if you're ever in the mood for non-Asian foreign films, Let the Right One In is an amazing Swedish film that I recommend to anyone and everyone.
