So, it looks like it might by a Syndicate title that they are putting together for EA.

I loved the first two games back in the early 90's, so this could be awesome if they get it right.

Thank God.

I had a horrible feeling that they were going to do what they did with the first one all over again. It looked like it was going to be Mar - April 09 but I'm really happy that it'll hit in November.

GHWT and RB2 in the same month - can't wait.

It just didn't grab me at all the first few times I tried to get into it.
I'm enjoying it now and hope I can make it to the end.

Back in February it was confirmed that Starbreeze was developing a title for EA that would reinvigorate a classic franchise. The current internal code name is: Project RedLime

My money is on Road Rash, based on the latest 'Now Hiring' ad in the recent issues of Edge. It features a hairy and scary looking biker dude with a hacksaw .

At the time of the annoouncement the web forums were lit up with speculation with a ton of different possibilities offered up: System Shock 3, Wing Commander, Ultima, Syndicate....in fact almost every defunct EA property seemed to be thrown into the mix as a possibility.

Which old EA franchise would you like to see Starbreeze work their magic on?

I just completed it over the weekend and really enjoyed it. Mike Patton's voice work as The Darkness was AMAZING and I was stunned to see some people hated it over on NeoGAF.

They story was good, but not great and it felt a little contrived at times. But it was never less than enjoyable.
The developer, Starbreeze Studios, are excellent. They need to get that long-delayed Riddick title out (if it's not trapped in development hell - Activision may have killed the project following the ActiBlizz merger) and the much-wanted Road Rash update that they're rumored to be working on for EA.

I've just pulled this off my pile of shame and have been genuinely surprised how much I'm enjoying it - despite the fact that it's a bit shit.

I still haven't completed GTA4's storyline, yet I'm picking away at this? What has the world come to?

As I'm a sad person with no friends, it's a bummer that so many of Rock Band's achievements are focused on completing the World Tour mode.

Way to go Harmonix, thanks for reminding me that I'm a pathetic loser.

:p

I'm a sad wretch with no friends, so I haven't even touched the World Tour yet. It's a bummer that loads of the achievements are tied to this mode.  I've tried to get the missus involved but she loses interest after a few songs and doesn't have the stamina for it.

RB's World Tour mode with it's full online support will allow me to finally play this mode properly. This is as close as I'm gonna get.....

No Platinum Artist achievement for me :(
