I wonder with the various technicalities surrounding the release, whether the developers of Starfox 2 (and the other games) are still cut in for royalties; Argonaut are now dead, so I wonder where the Starfox 2 money would go? Based on assured sales of the mini SNES, how weird is it going to be for a developer on an original SNES game to get a royalty check for it, in 2017?!

@jonny_anonymous It's odd that I've never noticed before, but around English people, I also just say i'm from Wales. From my perspective (having lived in Manchester & London), North England/South England is just as different in attitudes and temperament, than England/Wales/Scotland. Historically, i'd say Birmingham and North West England have changed massively; not only from refactoring from industrial to service industries, but also from remembering the effect of terrorism in both Warrington and Manchester. Going forwards, Manchester has so much going for it, I just hope the wealth spreads to surrounding areas, rather than just being tied up in the centre. Cardiff has this small-rustic town vibe set against all the trimmings of being a capital city, which is great (also the greatest breakfast burger); but again, I feel the more rural areas of Wales are going to suffer, as I feel the margins on agricultural businesses aren't there, which may explain why most fields are turning into solar panel farms these days.

if i'm not deeply into fighting games (a few steps above mashing); what am i really missing out on going Guilty Gear Xrd Sign, over Revelator; Steam currently has a bundle on -Sign- for a good price, and all i can see is that there are 6 additional characters in Revelator? Alternatively, should I just put the money into the SFV season-pass.

Haven't played one since 2010, but this year seems a big step in terms of features with 22-player multiplayer championships, formation laps, real/virtual safety car and manual (clutch) starts:

Has there been a big technical push with this series (aside from including rule changes since 2010); the big feature then was real-time weather and damage; I remember the full-length race feature that Drew/Danny did that centralised around tyre wear, a while back, so is it generally now on the same level as Project Cars/Asseto Corsa now?

How many iterations of the Street Fighter 5 series do you expect to see, as with poor launch sales against a launch target of 2 million copies (SNES Super Street Fighter 2 territory), will they stay the course and release Super/Turbo/Ultra editions or switch over to Marvel/Tekken/SNK variations, while iterating on the existing Street Fighter 5 release, banking on fight money/DLC income.

Overall, the SF4 series (all platforms/editions) stands at 7.6 million copies, but a more realistic goal for Street Fighter 5 is the Marvel vs. Capcom series which sold 4.8 million copies. One record Street Fighter 5 may hold is that no edition (Super/Turbo/CE etc.) has sold more copies than the base game, so a feature complete Super/Ultra release could do that; as Street Fighter 2 Turbo sold 68% of the original Street Fighter 2, while Super Street Fighter 4 sold 55% of the copies Street Fighter 4 achieved.

@wchigo just chiming in as I travelled to Tokyo for about 10 days (2 years ago), staying in a cosy hotel in Ikebukuro. Rather than list my own experiences, I'll just react to some on your wish-list:

Pack light, as you'll be hitting your luggage limits on the way back. May just have been me, but deodorant was hard to come by (I don't like fuss at airports, so didn't pack liquids/pressurized containers etc) - sanitation-wise everything was normal (western toilets etc.). Passmo is an essential recommendation, will keep you going for a crazy amount of travel for pocket change (most major stations have dedicated passmo machines, so you can top up easily). Also being from the UK, work and education starts roughly between 8-9 am, however I noticed commercial places tended to delay opening in the morning in Tokyo till around 10am resulting in a less manic start to the day when travelling around. Don't fret about language, but know enough to be polite; food/drink is the main interaction you'll have, and I picked most of it up from watching other people ahead of me in the queue.

Sumo was out of season when I went, but you should fine, probably best to see if you can book ahead. MOS Burger is great for breakfast (rice burger and miso soup) and yoshinoya is great for cheap beef bowls; we were so beat from shopping/sight-seeing that our planned evenings (robot restaurant etc.) often resulted in relaxing in our hotel, hysterically trying to figure out why Gackt was on the equivalent of family fortunes, or just chilling out in our local area, as the travelling and jet-lag does get to you - but dedicate at least one day to shrines/parks, Yoyogi Park is nice and houses the Meiji shrine, but Asakusa has the large pagoda shrines (also really nice steamed buns).

Ghibli - definitely book tickets ahead of time, if your off in April I'd wager your too late - if you do get them, you'll have to dedicate most of the day there, it's a little off the beaten track (we stayed in Ikebukuro) but definitely a highlight

Gundams - Diver City is the place, it's actually a nice shopping day out (Harajuku is the main place for that though), it's also worth hanging around until dusk, where the gundam starts to put on a show (lights, smoke etc.). It was a day-long trip for us, but with Diver City, Venus fort and MegaWeb (go on the ferris wheel), it's a highlight.
