Listening to Dan talk about current era stuff is a bit boring because I think it sucks, hearing Jeff actively dislike it but seem like a moth to a flame as he continues to watch it, is pretty funny.

Have UbiSoft ever released games that didn't have a lot of issues? I remember as far back as Rainbow Six Vegas which was a bugfest, it crashed my 360 a few times and ran like crap on my PC.

They made a really bad port of a game a few years ago which had unplayable mouse control (it never got fixed) and I've not given them money since. I think it was From Dust? I saw some people complain about it on here as well.

I can take 30 fps. I can't take letterboxing in video games, that's 2002 level shit where you'd get letterboxing if you played some imported NTSC games on PAL systems.

Letterboxing doesn't make it more cinematic, it makes it feel more closed in and suffocating. I hate it. I hate letterboxing on movies where it has a valid reason for being there, so I hate it even more when it's artificial.

2016 sounds likely but I can't imagine it's going to be an acceptable product even then. Dean Hall left and now the rest of his team has to clean up his mess. He took the money and ran and I see him as an immensely selfish coward. He's a quitter that set a shitty precedent for all of these types of games to come. Why finish it when you can make so much money with trash and then leave?

I don't really think it matters when it comes out on PS4 because no one should buy it anyways. There's no chance it comes out this year.

This is the second negative post you've left about H1Z1 & DayZ, both as hyperbolic as each other. Congratulations.

It plays better than DayZ, it looks better overall and it doesn't run like crap.
