Is there a mod that switches you instantly to combat mode after a cutscene? Every time a fight starts right after you exchange words the enemies have one to two second advantage to take a free hit on you. Every. Single. Time.

I know it's a really small thing, but it bugs the hell out of me.

If we're going by the game I played in 2007, it would probably be God of War II. If it's my favourite game that was released in 2007 but did not necessarily play until later it would be Mass Effect. It's still a pretty great list of games though.

Shirts facing left because I am right handed, it makes more sense when I'm picking shirts to see which shirt it is I'm looking at. I split between hanging shirts and folded shirts because I don't want wrinkles on clothes I go out with. I couldn't care less about shirts I wear at home so I fold them to save space.

Luring is OP as hell. You can lure multiple people by throwing multiple things in quick succession. For example, one coin toss attracts nearest NPC, the next coin toss will attract the second nearest. I believe assassination targets also have priority over the nearest NPC, so they may be lured over even if there are people closer to the coin toss. This happened to me during the latest Elusive Target so I didn't have to eliminate a guard beforehand and went straight for the ET.

Always mind your surroundings. Watching Brad play HITMAN is in equal parts hilariously entertaining and frustrating because of how much he neglects to look at the map. Almost every time he gets caught he blames it on the game not his inability to see that there are clearly other people in the same room as where he committed a crime. Always use Instinct (Hitman Vision) to check for NPCs and use the map to confirm.

Probably the easiest ET I've played so far. He has no guards, and he carries the secondary objective on him. Just lure him around the back of the makeup room (where Sato's champagne glass is), snap his neck, hide the body in the crate then pick up the USB and escape. Easy as pie. Kinda disappointed in this ET after the intense Colorado ET but that might be due to my unfamiliarity with that map.

As someone who played through vanilla WoW content last year, I don't think there's an actual overall story in it until Burning Crusade where it's all about defeating Illidan (even then Illidan is featured very little until you get to Shadowmoon Valley). I also tried to do all the quests in all zones before leaving which meant that I was pretty overleveled after the first few zones. If you want to see all the content like I did then go for it, but if you just want to see what's been happening in the latter expansions faster then just do enough quests until you hit the zone level cap, move on to the next zone (for example now that you're level 40, move on to the 41 - 50 zone).

To me framerate has a lot to do with my immersion in a game. If a game is running at subpar/under 30 frames it kinda takes me out of it no matter how good a story or the gameplay is. 60FPS is also highly preferred for action games and shooters because of how you react to what's going on, the controls needs to be precise and smooth. Playing Dark Souls on consoles get frustrating not only because you're fighting a hard boss, most of the time you're also fighting against the framerate, especially if they have large bosses/destructible environments.

I'm all for developers making games run at 30FPS so they can look better, but if they aren't pushing the tech to the fullest and yet can't run at 60FPS then I gotta wonder why not?

The entire industry needs to be reworked but it won't ever happen because publishers are too big to ever change. If the actors go on strike then the industry will find those who are willing to work, much like game developers. I'm still on the side that developers should get priority over the actors to have royalties from sales but I also don't begrudge actors the right to fight for it.

I don't think the faces look as bad as the internet says they are. They're not particularly great, but they look fine to me.

From what they've shown so far (gameplay wise), I'm optimistic about Andromeda, and playing through the trilogy right now has only increased my excitement for the game.

Hijacking this thread to ask: How is the PC port of the first Dead Rising? I bought it on PS4 but I can't get used to the antiquated controls, especially the shooting. Is it any better with mouse and keyboard?
