Same. I've set myself a rule that I would only buy games when they're discounted to 75% or more to stop myself from spending more money on games. Doesn't seem like any of them games on my wishlist will be 75% off, the most I've seen has been around 60%.
We used to have GAME in Australia until the financial problems in 2012 which forced them to close all stores here. I remember they used to sell games fairly cheap (compared to EB Games) and was probably the only retailer to sell older, retro games/consoles.
Say what you will of Max Landis, but the changes he proposed would've made the third act much better. I disagree with adding a Amazonian best friend for Diana but everything else would've fit into the movie seamlessly.
When they were just about to leave for the Western Front and Diana was seeing the shellshocked, the wounded and maimed it was fucking brutal and when they got to the trenches it finally hit me that this is being shown in a god damn comic book movie. Say what you will about the over-saturation of the comic book movie genre, but I'm sorta glad it still hasn't lost momentum just yet.
I enjoyed the movie overall, but was pretty let down by the final act, especially with Nigel Thornberry Ares. I can buy it if he was just possessing an Englishman but when they had David Thewlis in the flashback as prime Ares I fucking lost it, holy hell it was bad. The movie also didn't fully explained why Diana abandoned humanity for 100 years as stated in BvS considering she left the war on pretty good terms with mankind.
If you want to know all the places of interest in the game you could always look for guides online. I'm sure there are dozens of interactive maps made by fans already. I can definitely see where you're coming from but the thing you don't like about the game is exactly the thing that's kept me playing. The lack of any real map icons placed by the game allows me to explore every nook and cranny whenever I so wish. This is a game that I can pick up and play for twenty minutes and just explore a tiny speck of the map and have my Zelda fix. I don't forsee myself finishing this game for at least a year, and that is exactly what I want from it.
The leaked images seem pretty legit but this whole thing reeks of Square Enix wanting to squeeze more money out of the Life Is Strange name since it's reportedly being developed by a different studio while Dontnod is off working on the sequel. If it's not done by Dontnod I ain't interested.
