OPTIONS. The make-your-own-bullet feature looks really cool.

I tried God Eater back on PSP some years ago and couldn't get into it. I'm willing to give this another shot but will wait until it goes on sale. I'm having a lot of fun with Monster Hunter Generations right now.

Titans seem more like Dota-pattern heroes over the traditional, customizable light/medium/heavy 'mech this time around. You have the ability to change certain aspects of the titan but the active abilities are set and fall in-line with the titan theme and their core abilities are more like Dota-style ultimate abilities rather than a huge buff to their primary aspect (that is to say, "Ion's all about lasers, Scorch is all about fire, and Ronin is all about having a sword and being as annoying as Overwatch's Tracer and Genji" as opposed to "Stryder's the fast one, Atlas is the damage one, and Ogre's the defense one!"). I get that it makes the titan stand out more from the others and allows Respawn to add additional titans in the future that fill specific roles with unique themes but I'm going to miss customization and using a shield wall/slaved warheads/40mm cannon Ogre.

Recently, had a friend who wanted to go for a walk in a nearby area saturated with pokestops because he wanted to hit them all and catch a bunch of pokemon on the way. The area was a large park with hiking trails, batting cages, and a skate park. I'd been playing a lot of competitive Overwatch and decided to go with him after playing with a bunch of jerks. As we walked the park and hit his stops we saw quite a bit of people of walking around with their phones out presumably with the same goal. These people ranged teenagers to adults. Even met a handful of people and had a lengthy discussion starting at Pokemon Go and expanding to video games in general. They don't go deep into video games like myself and my friend, but were still able to share a discussion about video games in general. All of them were really nice and the complete opposite of the type of people I'm used to hearing and seeing online. Served as a nice reminder to me about who plays video games in the modern world: people like myself, who often plays alongside their friends to have a good time. Cool stuff.

Brad and Drew are right there on the fence regarding getting into Monster Hunter that they just need that small push in the right direction to get them there! Jason should take them on more hunts, making this a series where they do all the large monster hunting quests up to G-rank or whatever this equivalent may be.

I can't wait for this game to come out. Spent hundreds of hours in previous games starting from Freedom Unite questing on my own since none of my friends "get" Monster Hunter. Always been afraid of going online in 4U because I don't hunt "optimally" (I don't care about sleep bombing, GS/Hammer only I just want to poke the monster and shoot it with this gunlance I have. I mean it's a gun AND a lance.). Still, can't wait to drop another large chunk of my life playing this game.

The swapping between third and first-person aiming cracked me up. I imagine the cameraman going "no dude just me take care of this" and raises his own gun which happens to be the same as the player's. The movement looks goofy as all hell; no view bob or anything, you just glide.

Well, maybe if I start praying to the gods for a Rathalos plate or two now they'll drop like crazy when I play this game.

Yeah, sure. I'm down to watch a dumb Final Fantasy movie again. They can't do any worse in the movie department, so there's a pretty good chance this will be better than Advent Children at least.

A great game to bring back. Loved playing the SNES version as a kid.

Super excited for this game. Loved the first one and cannot wait to play around with the new things they've added.

Played Hawken quite a bit in 2013-14. I stopped playing when a patch hit that adjusted chassis health limits which I felt turned the game into more of a generic mech-flavored FPS rather than something more team-focused. I never came back to take a look at any changes since then so I'll have to have another look at it when it releases.
