To close and move into the new house. My 360 and Wii(though not so much my Wii) being packed away in a box is making me sad. I have the PC and DS though thank god. Still playing some of the same stuff waiting for end of month releases. Not much else going on right now.

I like to have a reference of what my current setup is. It is sort of interesting to look back at later and see what you were using. So not much else right now going on. Still playing Sins of a solar empire and defense grid waiting for the end of the month begining of march releases. Also waiting to get the closing done hardwood floors put in and get moved into the new house. More updates to come.
I'm sure ill be posting more stuff as we get some more new titles released.
Well now while at my grandmothers i have been gaming the following: Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment - Stil love this game the additions with entrenchment are nice. Defense Grid - My first foray into TD gaming( I know yrs behind) I enjoy being able to pick it up and play for a short time. COD4 Arcade Mode - I like this mode and me and my cousin take turns seeing what sort of score we can get. WoW - Though not nearly as much as usual. I've hit 80 lvling was fun. Recycled end game that i did 34252 times at lvl 60, not so much.
Looking forward to Halo Wars, SF IV, and Star Ocean: Last Hope Happy Gaming Sean
So i am staying with my grandmother for 2 or 3 weeks while i wait to close on a new home in Washington DC. Not a huge move as I live in New Jersey.
Thats not what this post is about though. Last night i was sitting just watching some tv and playing some Sins of a Solar Empire. A nice relaxing night when it just hit me. I remembered 20 plus years ago the very beginings of my gaming starting in this very house. It wasnt the very first days of my gaming but it was darn close. I started thinking back and remembering the NES and Intellivision. So many good memories here of playing great games for hours on end with not a care in the world. Last night i was back in that place for a short time and i really do not have the words for the feeling i got. A few things stuck out immediately.
Tron and Ice Hockey on the intellivision as well as Rygar and Dragon Warrior on the NES. Many hours on the powerpad with family(track and field). Duck Hunt, Lock and Chase, and so many others.
It has been nice these few weeks just playing and having fun not worrying so much about finishing games but just enjoying the ride.
Just wanted to start this and will come back to the topic. Books that are released near a game release or movies can really expand and enrich a universe/gameworld. Especially if they compliment one another and are relevant to one another. Two recent examples of this that i have experienced are the Halo and Mass Effect books. They are pretty good all around and really help to introduce you to the universe and/or expand upon it. They really let you know more about characters wtih in the games and the worlds and universes in which those characters live.
Thats all for now but i wil be revisting this topic.
Well Figured this was as good a time as any to start some blogging here wtih the goings on of me. I am moving to Washington D.C. It is pretty exciting but having my Xbox360, Wii, and gaming PC packed up really sucks. Thank god for my DS.
What have I been playing? Some WoW, though far less then usual. Hitting level 80 fast and having most of the gear you want plus not pvping in the game means theres not much to do. Thats ok though i can catch up on other stuff(before i packed up and after i unpack). Finished up Fallout 3. Great story but it really made me realize i dont very much like the go whereever you want style of game. I really do enjoy a more focused linear experience(most of the time). The end was also quite disappointing. Other then those two really just going back and playing some Crysis Warhead, COD4, Read Alert 3, and Sin of a Solar Empire.
I am really looking forward to Feb. as there are several releases then that I will be enjoying including Halo Wars, SF IV, FEAR 2, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, and Dawn of War II. Wow thats a bigger list then i realized at least for a Feb.
I will be trying to do regular (Hopefully) weekly updates here of at least what i am playing and what i have finished. I will try to write short impressions of new things i play from here on out and maybe something once i finish them.
