Congratulations :D

How are you feeling the upgrade? I'm currently looking to to build a new PC myself with the new AMD lineup launching in the end of this week. Expecting huge discounts on thelast years ryzen 3000 lineup with black friday/cyber monday.

For budget x570 board i wanted to recommend a Aorus Elite with a Ryzen 3600x, that seems to be the first viable well rounded option in the x570 lineup, anything cheaper and you are better off opting for a 550.

Here is a handy sortable list for anyone also looking into AM4 motherloards: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wmsTYK9Z3-jUX5LGRoFnsZYZiW1pfiDZnKCjaXyzd1o/edit#gid=2112472504

Personally i have my eyes set on a X570 ROG Strix -E motherboard which for some reason dropped much more off its launch price than the other boards and also has a 30$ cashback action at this moment putting close to the budget/entry bracket.

I always find it lazy of the developers when higher difficultys only increase the damage/health of enemies. Bayonetta did a really cool thing where enemies actually changed up their attack patterns at higher difficultys keeping the experience feeling fresh for much longer than i had anticipated. Does Devil may cry 5 also do this?

I am trying to find a old top-down RPG for PC where you play a single sorcerer that summons all kinds of animals to be your army. You got to socket colorful gems to your summoner slots with different combinations resulting in different animals.
From how i recall it: The size of your army awas basically limited by your mana pool with every summon taking a permanent toll on your mana untill it died with small critters being cheaper than large animals.

- Visually similar to diablo 2
- I recall the MC being a bald guy in a robe (larger than normal head?)
- Windows 95/ME time period

All help is welcome, this question has been itching me for a long while :)

As a child i stopped and restarted playing FF7 like 5 times before i managed to get past this area - i could never discover the path to get past it to the trainyard and would eventually just give up thinking i must have missed something vital

Starcraft and Diablo; had no experience with the series, just knew that they were classic games that are still very highly regarded. While i can apreciate the games as being very polished experiences the genres don't click with me at all.

So yeah, just because everyone around ya likes a game. it does not have to mean you will personally have a fun time it.

I'm currently rocking the HD7970 and if i got to choose again i would have gone for the GTX counterpart simply because there are so many things that only show if you have physx. just look at the borderlands 2 physx demo its like night and day.

Nier. That game's story is so good, the characters are so good, everything about how that game is written is so good.

It may have a good story but the game only gives the player bits and scraps to work with. I would say it disqualifys for this topic through its bad presentation and reliance on outside sources

Now for those who have not yet caught the hint: Plane scape: Torment (Now on sale at GoG.com!) is an amazing game. and should be experienced even if just for the sheer size of the stories and lore told of the world within
