Last year I kinda fell away from everything pretty hard. Not just GB, but other stuff, too. I let my sub lapse for the first time. I left the FB group for personal reasons. Even though I've been unplugged from GB for the past year or so, this really bums me out. I just started listening to the podcasts again a few months ago. I'm going to get a month sub to see UPF this week, at least. Maybe re-watch some stuff. I don't know what the future holds for GB, but I really hope this isn't the end. Almost feels like my fault for letting my sub lapse. I used to consume this content daily for years and have wanted it to draw me back in. I'm an older guy, so I appreciate that it's a site (mostly) centered around people over 35. I need that in my life and hope it can find it's footing and come back around. Getting older sucks. I've had friends and family die and that changes your life. This feels like a friend is dying and I'm really hoping they pull through.

I'll sub monthly for a while. I'll get a year once I'm sure they're stable, even if I'm not gaming or even watching stuff much. This just sucks.

I haven't been able to keep up with GB for a while, but I'll always watch a Souls-like. Best streaming games IMO. Surge 2 was great. I just wanted to point out a thing most people don't know regarding the graffiti Jason looks at at 14:58. The image is of a guy's face and is says "Use the time YOU have - Y.G." There is a video on YouTube of the devs playing some of the game and they talk about a terminally ill kid that was a fan of the first game. He wasn't going to live to see this game released so they let him play it early. They weren't sure he'd live long enough to finish the game, so they put this in early so he would get to see it. He apparently finished the game before he died.

GB is being weird and won't let me post the video. This links to YouTube and what I'm referring to.

I was way into Dragon's Crown when it came out. The crossplay between Vita and PS3 was awesome. The game looked best on Vita with that OLED, but I played many hours both ways. I was happy to see it go to PS4, though I never bought it. Maybe one day I'll go back to it and snag the PS4 version. It'd be really nice to see it get a PC version, but I'd love to see it on Switch.

Just throwing out a PSA that I discovered a week or so ago: Use the right stick to scroll faster in menus, especially for Nook Miles achievements because it will automatically scroll right to the one you just unlocked! I noticed Abby doing the same thing I was doing, which was using the left stick or d-pad to go down through the list.

I can't wait to watch this. Bubble Bobble was a huge part of my childhood and I will always love this game, if nothing else than for the nostalgia. I had a rough, long day at work. I was bummed that I was too beat to even hit the gym tonight. Seeing this just made my night.

Now I'm waiting for y'all to play Stonekeep!!!

I love how proud Brad seemed of "Chat Rorie" juxtaposed with everyone else's confusion as to what the joke was.

I'm from Louisiana and I have never heard of a "Louisiana Crunch Cake." I had to look it up, and from what I can find it's probably misnamed and definitely not common in the Gulf South. This is unimportant information, but I had to pause the stream and look this up right away. Side note: one of my favorite deserts is lemon Doberge cake, which IS a local thing and according to the wiki, the creator of the recipe is from my hometown of St. Rose, La. Again, unimportant... nobody cares about this... I like cake, though.

00:12:53 Ben: "...unless you're home alone eating an entire pizza naked by yourself."

I feel seen. Which is weird because I'm literally sitting here naked (I don't wear clothes in my house) eating a Domino's pizza out of the box. Not a joke. Medium double pepperoni, double chicken, double cheese. I had a coupon.

@bartwux:Not sure how many times if ever you've dealt with a situation like that, man, but you can't apply normal logic to what you do after. As a recovering alcoholic, I no longer drink and honestly don't like seeing all of the drinking on GB. I really dislike it when people get actively drunk on stream. That said, if the man wanted to get drunk after dealing with all of that (with or without friends) I don't blame him. Then he made the decision to go hang out with people he loves and who love him back. He was looking for comfort. GB has always felt like hanging out with friends to me. Did I like seeing him drunk? No. But I get it and I welcomed him either way. I don't think there was anything wrong with him venting about that on stream. Real life happens. If it disturbs you too much, you can always watch something else.

Ha! I giggled when I saw how low the camera was and was like, "I guess Abby's filming."
