As long as there's a customization option for Shepard, I AM THE SHEPARD. Therefore, he will be male in my playthroughs.

I don't think there's anything wrong with having a male lead in the canon. If they're releasing a collectors edition with FemShep on the front, does that mean that there's no gender that the protagonist is assigned to in the canon? If that's true that's pretty awesome. Hell, all the decisions you can make, the relationships you can have, it must be difficult to even have a canon.

The kind of sour feeling I enjoy is Johnson's moment in Halo 3, or the end of GTA IV. It's that sour moment that I can live with that either provides motivation for a future event, or provides a sort of closure, a revelation of some sort. Some of the cases in here left me much more dissatisfied than that, and I despised entire parts of my game experience as a result. Again I'm not looking for 5-star perfection, but the one time I got the wrong guy, I never wanted to play that game again. I could never accept fucking up THAT bad, and I certainly couldn't accept not trying to fix it, or at least say sorry to the guy. And oh, all the times I screwed something up because I was trying to ask a certain question in a particular manner that was never offered in the truth, lie, doubt choices. At times, I didn't feel responsible for what happened, but I was blamed for it because I was only given 3 choices among the many variables reality offered. I had trouble getting immersed in the world cause I kept feeling restrained by all the mechanics in the game. I'd live with my decisions more if they truly felt like my decisions.

Loved them all so far except for the Mileena/Kitana one.

Man I hope I don't get in trouble as I leave the house today. I live in an apartment complex with a bunch of families with young children, and I was watching the Scorpion/Sub-Zero one with the window open, and at the end I just kept shouting "GOD DAMMIT! GOD DAMMIT!"

@nintendoeats: Yeah, that's true. I personally just enjoy a good "It's established who's good and who's bad and there are no real grey areas go good side!" kinda stories.

@Enigma777: I like the idea of the flood. It certainly scared the hell out of me when I was 11 or 12 and first saw them. But after a few times running into them, it's annoying. I can tolerate one flood level and maybe a moment when you're running from the flood to an extraction point. And of course they're always great to drive through during the last driving sequence.

I loved Halo: Reach, and I do enjoy the stories, but the big issue I think is the characters that they've recently been trying to include in ODST and Reach. The trilogy had a few named characters and for the most part, you cared about them and what was happening. But in Reach, and especially ODST, you pretty much know what happens. That didn't ruin it for me when it came to Reach, but the big downer was the characters. They'd introduce groups of characters in one game and then kill off a few before they've gotten through their first appearance in the game. Then Bungie would say "AWW! THAT SUCKS! THAT CHARACTER THAT YOU TOTALLY CARED ABOUT (right?) JUST DIED! DOESN'T THAT JUST MAKE YOU MAD?!?"

and our response would be "meh." If you're going to include some characters that can stick in the player's mind, they must have a good personality, and something beyond the default player look and feel. Master Chief was sort of able to break those rules because he had a more serious Duke Nukem attitude and after Halo: CE, he was feared by his enemies and you'd experience that in the gameplay. You feel like a god damn warrior sent by the gods. These default spartans that get sent in with you who have just a little more personality than the average red shirt marine doesn't cut it. Kat, Buck, and Jorge are not going to ever stick in my mind. Ever. Master Chief, though...

Hackers are real pieces of shit, aren't they. No-life basement dwelling losers that have nothing to do but to fuck peoples shit up.
They didn't even gain anything out of this! They're just deliberately being dicks to millions of people for no reason. The only reason I could think of is that they're upset with the GeoHotz thing, so they did this hoping that people wouldn't read into it and would just get mad at Sony. And you know what? It's fucking working! Yes, Sony deserved what was coming to them, they needed to fix their security issues, but the innocent PS3 owners should not have been involved in any way.

I'm really rooting for Sony this E3. This was supposed to be their year and it still can be.

Psyko_Dude. Just mention you're a Giant Bomber and you'll surely be a friend of mine.

I don't think I'm good enough or have played enough to really main anyone yet, but I use Scorpion, a little Kung Lao, a little Raiden, and I recently began using Smoke.
