Might Finally Get Into Halo

Thanks to the quests here on Giant Bomb, I've learned quite a bit about Halo: Reach.  I've never been one to enjoy the Halo series before this, but this latest iteration looks solid.  I played through the original Halo way back and never really go attached, but the multiplayer shown in the "Ask Me Anything" video looks to be a lot of fun.  I'm going to have to give it a whirl this Fall.

Watching the Halo: Reach video did the same to me. I had played some Halo: Combat Evolved but it never really caught my interest. But I finished it yesterday, and am now playing Halo 2. Have 3 ready and ODST as well :)

I picked up Halo 3 so a buddy and I could co-op the whole thing together. When he ran short on time, I took on the single-player campaign and found it so plain and unengaging that I dropped the whole thing then and there. Never tried multi-player for fear of being slaughtered, though I could OWN on Goldeneye and Timesplitters back in the day.

I'm definitely almost there Droop.  I've certainly considered going back to 2, 3 and ODST, but I'm still so far behind on games from the holiday season.  Maybe this summer I can burn through them to at least get caught up on the world and story.

It's not as bad a game as everyone says it is. You just can't take it seriously and you definitely need buddies to play it with. Otherwise it's just frustrating and dumb. It's definitely one of the most unique shooters visually at least.

I understand, but very respectively, you didn't try half that game. ;)
