They're the same person.  Like Michael and Latoya Jackson.  Except she will die and Jeff will live on.  Forever.

There's a point in Fallout 3  when a quest takes you to the museum of natural history or what have you, and you enter a large room with a t-rex skeleton and a woolly mammoth statue.   Now, when I was around 6 years old, my dad took me to a similar museum, except this one had a large exhibit depicting Native Americans being fighting fighting Europeans on horseback.  I had never been more terrified in my life.  Something about how large the room was and the realism of the figures really got to me.  The aformentioned room in Fallout reminded me greatly of that.  I got so anxious I started laughing my ass off had to look away the entire time I was in it, struggling to find the exit.  
It bears mentioning that I've played both Condemned games and three of the Silent Hill alone in the dark with surround sound headphones on and was never once frightened.

I like the mmmph noise Gordon Freeman makes when he touches fire.  The only time you hear his voice (at least I think so...).
