-The Last Guardian (If SotC is anything to go off, Team ICO aren't exactly framerate kings...)

-Dishonored 2 (game comes out the day before PS4Pro, so this would make a great "first game" to try out)

-Final Fantasy XIV (game looks great already, but bringing it even more inline with the PC version would be great)

-Fallout 4 (a stable framerate, faster loading times)

-Street Fighter V (faster loading)

...that's about it for my wish list. What about y'all?

Dan is great at coming up with content for the site (Mario Party, Demo Derby and Metal Gear Scanlon among the best things the site has ever produced) but he's largely felt like a wet sock to me on the bombcast -- he seems largely disengaged unless they're discussing Nintendo, new hardware to buy, or finds an anecdote from his past. That said, his brief foray on the Beastcast was wonderful! I chalk it up to Vinny being a more experienced/engaged and enthusiastic host than Brad, which probably creates a more welcoming air for Dan.

So I'm all for this move! With any luck, the west coast will hire someone a bit more, um, intellectual, let's say? Which would hopefully lead to more engaging discussions on the Bombcast, something that imo has been sorely lacking for a while. Bombcast has felt very rote and safe for a long while, and while Dan brought a lot to the video side of GBWest, his podcast presence did not elevate the show, imo. Give me an Austin-type, who's hilarious but also has a lot of insightful things to say.

My ONLY reservation about Dan's move to east coast is I could totally see Alex snapping, unable to tolerate some dumbass thing Dan says at some point. With Vinny there it could defuse the moment into something hilarious but... it feels a bit tense?

I hope Dan is indeed moving to New York. Vinny's incredulous prods at Dan have been a lot of fun (eating Taco Bell forever...) and I think the Alex/Dan interactions will be glorious, as Alex in a lot of ways feels like the anti-Dan (mostly the cynicism and darker humour) -- huh, would that make Alex Luigi..?

I also think the move would help the bombcast because, honestly, I think Dan always brings the least amount to the table in regards to interesting discussions, and it never feels like Brad or Jeff prod him to contribute. The beastcast on the other hand feels way more enthusiastic and welcoming, and I could see Dan contributing more to the conversation throughout the entirety of the podcast, instead just when they're discussing what their weekend was like and what they've been playing.

But yeah, this could all be a ruse! Whatever, guess we'll see what happens!

Deciding on a mech game with a ton of customization that I can play on either PS4, PS3, Vita or 3DS...

So far I've honed in on these two games (mostly thanks to the GB3 quick look). Any other suggestions? Or does anyone here have any experience with either of these games?

I just got an Android 6P and I'm downloading a bunch of games just to see if anything sticks. Whenever I google "best android games" I get a very similar, recurring list, so I thought I'd check in with y'all to see if you had other recommendations that I might not have noticed.

Here's what I've tried:

Card games like Hearthstone, Ascension and Magic The Gathering -- all three of these seem neat, though I think I'll probably commit to just one of them (looking like Hearthstone so far, though I'm not a big fan of the Warcraft aesthetic and lore..).

I do like card games, and if y'all have any other suggestions...

Elder Sign Omens, which is a decent adaptation of a board game that I like. I'm a big fan of Lovecraftian horrors and this seemed like the best I could find.

Final Fantasy -- I'm a huge FF fan and have played through the entire series, but might dip back into FFVI if I can get over the new art style. I also have FF Record Keeper installed though I'm not blown away by it. Triple Triad gets more playtime. I am also tempted by FFTactics, since I never beat that one. Does anyone have any experience with the mobile version?

Terra Battle I really like, though I haven't played much since it came out. I should redownload that...

I also just downloaded that Uncharted phone game and it seems.. alright I guess? Not as elegant as Hitman or lara croft go but neat enough...

Open to any recommendations! In general I like the idea of a deep card game, a lovecraftian tale, or some Final Fantasy-esque..
