It's too bad Nintendo of Japan couldn't just act like adults and greenlight the deal MS wanted that would have had the original on the VC, and a graphical update on XB360.  I would much prefer simply downloading the N64 version.  I'm betting on this game simply not being as good.

If you really enjoy a great JRPG, getting to the end is a really bittersweet moment.  I felt the same way when I beat FFX.  You can go back to Gran Pulse and mess around, but the story is done.  So taking that out of the equation, my satisfaction witht he post game was fleeting.  No sooner than I got done going to the next level of the Crystarium that unlocks after the final boss and "WHOA WTF LOL GOD MODE ENABLED" all my characters, and beasted things that used to kill me in three hits, did I get bored enough to simply start over. (this time on the 360)

What the deuce is this nonsense?  You guys do realize we can just turn it off, watch the video, and turn it back on, right?  Efforts to combat ad blockers are equatable to DRM efforts to curb piracy, they are, at best, completely flaccid, and wholly ineffective.  Take comfort in the fact that most people are too stupid to use anything but Internet Explorer, so I doubt you're really losing all that much revenue to FireFox users here. :)

So yeah, proceed with the flames/locking.  I post here once every three months or so anyway, so I won't really care.

Well when the censorship snowballs from games and internet into books and TV, he'll know he fucked up.

"
No he likely is.  You guys do a poor job on price stickers.  I saw several used copies of SF4 at gamestop today, and all of them had different prices ranging from $54.99 used to $26.99 used.

Question?  Why the fuck do Aussies keep electing these censoring big brother wanna be scum bags?  When you get right down to it, it's the Australian people who are really at fault here.  The voters of your country have to care enough to send a message, and by the fact that I've been reading about these assholes for many years now, it's obvious the mass majority of your people just don't give a rats ass.  They just don't care.

" Player matches suck. I agree. People still pick the boring characters of ranked and championship and if you beat them once they very rarely keeo playing for more rounds. The only place I get bad messages in SFIV is the Player Matches. In Championship it's all GGs. "

Well, why stick around to get brutalized by a player blatantly superior to you?  People would rather play those on their own skill level, that they at least stand a chance against.  Feeding the ego of some super player and losing so badly you may as well go eat a sandwhich at the start of the round and get the same result, isn't fun.  People get sick of that one super player who keeps coming into every single lobby and running the joint.  It really is annoying to average players.  Everyone taking turns losing to one guy who can't realize he should maybe move on himself and seek players on his own level is not fun, it's the anti-fun.  It sucks all the fun out of the game.

The first level of Demon's Souls is simply structured very poorly.  All first time players find it rather... difficult.  Mostly because you can't spend soul points, and upon dying every second time without getting to your bloodstain, lose all of them.  If you could spend some and upgrade your weak starting stats some, it wouldn't be so bad.  Just keep in mind that you have to be very strategic, I know if you have a strong character like a barbarian that when you get that Bastard Sword at the early goings of level 1-1 that you might think "I have a big sword, lets go wade into that group of ten dudes with it, for it is big and powerful".  But you would be wrong, and dead(er).

Bookmark that site, it's essential.  Aside from maybe the Valley of Defilement and those god forsakenly strong giant goblins and the constant poisoning, everything after 1-1 is much less... overwhelming.

I think one huge issue is the detachable hard drive. It would need to be able to fit on this slim 360 model, and with the size of that thing alone, the slim one couldn't be all that slim.

Also, slimming down consoles is more of a Sony thing. Nintendo only does it with their handhelds. Microsoft never did it with the original Xbox.

Actually, Nintendo was the first to slim a console down, with the NES, and then the SNES as well.  The N64 and GC were rather small off the bat and just didn't need it, though some people would say the Wii essentially is a "slim" GC.
