"Video Game Knowledge" isn't a requirement to work at GameStop. It probably should be, but it isn't. The people that work there are glorified cashiers, and anyone who does know anything about games have learned to stay clear of GameStop (in terms of working there). GameStop has ruined the idea that working at a game store would be cool. They might as well be a fast food restaurant or a grocery store in terms of employees.

I think it'll sneak in right before the end of the year. Maybe first week of December. Just a feeling.

Jeff has come out and said that they've dropped the ball on the ads. It was during some live stream I believe, and he said that they weren't very smart businessmen and they didn't have a business department to do it for them.

That said, he did say that being acquired by GameSpot would give them the businessmen they needed, so I'm not sure why there's an ad like that. They've been reasonably up front about this kind of stuff, though, so I say give them the benefit of the doubt.

It's probably GameSpot's call what ads go up on the site, as well. Although I don't know for sure.

In the '90s, Nickelodeon used to pop up these little factoids every now and again in between commercials. And in those factoids, they used to point out voice actors who did different parts. Like the voice of Stimpy and Doug was the same guy, or that one guy did Mr. and Mrs. Bighead from Rocko and also did the voice of Ickis in Ahh! Real Monsters. I couldn't have been more than 7 years old when these would air, and it blew my mind. That's probably when I first started respecting acting as an art form. I still think voice actors are under appreciated.

Didn't seem out of place. Seemed on par with most of the other voices in Skyrim. Good job.

@ImmortalSaiyan: It was directly after The Dark Knight came out and I was looking at interviews on YouTube. It was at a Comic Con I believe and it was a panel of some kind. It was a long time ago. David Goyer said that if Heath Ledger were still alive it would be a "no brainer" for him to be involved.

Try searching David Goyer stuff on YouTube maybe? Sorry, but I can't really remember much about it. It was nearly four years ago now.

I've seen an interview with him, David Goyer, and Jonathan Nolan saying that, had Heath Ledger still been alive, he would have been heavily involved in the story. So yes, I think his death changed the story.

I love the Bombcast. I also find their off-topic stuff funny... But even I had a hard time listening this week. But that's just this week. Everybody has off weeks. Just because one episode dragged on a little (I did find it entertaining overall), doesn't mean the product is going downhill. And yeah, there really aren't that much interesting games coming out right now.

I figured Ric Flair was bigger than just the USA. He's among the higher pantheon of wrestlers that broke to mainstream. Maybe not quite as big Rock, Hogan, or Austin, but it's still surprising to me that someone doesn't know who he is.
