I am so glad Mike was able to show them Warframe. Just the tip of the iceberg too.

Really love vinny's reaction to everything in the game.

Content and mission wise Mike has only shown on the playdate what was released back in 2015. So there is a lot more to show

@vinny@alex

Would have like to seen Alex's reaction and opinion to the recent Night Wave plot, there is a character called Nora Night which is basically a character was inspired by D.J. (Lynne Thigpen) from the Warriors. The story revolves around catching a fugitive called "The Wolf" (That's right there's bit of Carmen Sandiego in Warframe)

Also, If anyone on the PC is looking to get into the game check out the Giant Bomb PC Clan. https://www.giantbomb.com/warframe/3030-38788/forums/pc-giant-bomb-alliance-2019-3-07-operation-buried--1760576/

The clan was started back in 2014 and still quite active!

@jeff On your question on what to do when your Warframe gear reaches max level and trying to understand the progression in Warframe.

The big difference between Warframe and other loot shooter (like Destiny or Anthem) instead on focusing building up one character continously, you work to acquire an arsenal of different warframes (hero characters) and weapons each with different abilities and mechanics that can be heavily customized with the mod system to fulfill a class role. Because each warframe is like a class, and the game is about leaving it up to you to choose which Warframe best suits to complete this mission or challenge. As you level through a weapon to max level your player level goes up unlocking more weapons options and try out.

As you progress further through the star chart, the enemy levels keep increasing far past your own limit of Level 30. That is because builds (what mods you have equipped) is more important than Level.

"Maining" or sticking with a particular Warframe you like, that is totally viable. Every piece of gear has a soft level cap of 30. Initially, the base cost of all your mods will make it so you are very limited in the mods you can put on a Warframe / Gear (Mod Capacity) but you are essentially able over clock them and create min-max builds by adding more mod polarity slots to them called (forma/ forma-ing). To handle the late game content in Warframe you will need to take advantage of more powerful modded builds.

With all the right mods put on Warframe you can melt early enemies, and face the level 100+ mobs found later in the game.

For me the core loop of Warframe's progression is get new Warframe / Weapon, reach max levelto get a feel for how it plays, if I like it, forma and experiment with making an optimal build for it. Get it powerful enough to play the new story / mission content.

In your case I would focus on one of your existing frames, if I remember correctly when we you had a Frost and bought Nova Prime get antiquated with them, I would use them to get use the combat, parkour and make your way to (Uranus) where the first major story quest Second Dream will be unlocked.

Such a fan-fiction game. Main character is Chinese Lara croft, with Crysis suit. Impressive that they put it together.

Can someone who plays Warframe tell me what is going on with that butt? Seriously, that ain't right.

Hey @marino, @zombiepie Butts are very "Hot Topic" in Warframe so much so that they even had to release a "Hot"fix early this year to fix Warframe Mesa's butt..

Talking about Anthem lately, I am reminded of back in ME3 when people were like "HOW DARE THEY ADD MULTIPLAYER TO MY SINGLE PLAYER NARRATIVE FOCUSED game" and we were (at least I was) like fine it's just feature Bioware will always focus on single player deep narrative first. .... now Anthem is like ME3 multiplayer fleshed out with a bigger scope.

That being said, I said this when talking about the 2019 roadmap for Warframe

Anthem is a game has chance to bridge the gap between the two games. People not satisfied by Destiny's offering, but also unable to get through the barrier of entry (bad on-boarding) or not satisfied with Warframe either. I can see a lot of players getting into Anthem during the lulls while waiting for Destiny / Warframe updates. Who knows some people might end up preferring it over the two.

Mechanically, I am guessing the movement in Anthem will take some getting used to really nail down just like Warframe. If you are mindful how much heat you use and time your movement I bet you can get really good at flying around constantly.

Warframe's movement is definitely faster, and in Warframe there's no stamina restriction so you can just bullet-jumping constantly. Anthem I think strikes a balance.
