Ben is so bad with taking in media content XD first with Smash and now this 'I watched it on mute.' Come on Ben! Open those puppy eyes and take it ALL in!
Destiny 2 is not under-performing because it's intimidating or anything like that. It's not a very deep or versatile game. Even the progression difference between new and adept players is negligible since it's a co-op game... You're not competing for levels or missing out on a high level of skill when you start. Maybe I'm too optimistic but I think it may have everything to do with their treatment of their customers. I bet we are going to see some impact from Battlefront 2 for decades to come.
There were like roughly a 10 million missing BF2 sales, plus a lot of angry people who did buy it anyway. So angry they phoned in their governments. Governments that are now threatening EA's bottom line to the point that their stocks have been dwindling to like a 40% loss I hear? Destiny 1 players are seeing a repeat in the way Destiny 2 screws people over.

With Nintendo cloud saves Jeff was stunned that it wouldn't function with every game in the past. And with the PSN name change it's like: 'That's a little too vague but whatever.' I think it's equally bizarre.

Dan, I don't know if they changed it by now but I think if you press nothing during the rock paper scissors game you will default to not taking/dealing damage.
So if you don't like it, do as I do and always back out by pressing nothing.
Since this comment section is turning into a forum on Waypoint, I thought I'd throw out my two cents. As someone who doesn't follow politics very closely, I've come to enjoy Waypoint for bringing issues/ideas to my attention that I previously wasn't aware of and hadn't considered. That is not to say that I always agree with them, but I appreciate the thought exercise. As far as content goes, I've really enjoyed some of the stuff they have done - Tactical Tuesdays with XCOM 2, BattleTech, Article reads, Breakfast and Battlegrounds, and Waypoint Plays. My current issue with the site is they are just flooding my podcast feed with 3 to 4 shows a week while simultaneously making me hunt for their video content. I don't believe they post videos to their site anymore (?), their YouTube page is sporadically updated at best, and most of their videos on their Twitch page disappears after a couple of months.
If this site turns into a Waypoint 2 (i.e. shackles on diversity of political/ethical thought) I am out of here. They are a little too one-sided for me. I've always been an advocate of truth and thought and not hitting the breaks on thought or skewing the truth. I don't believe that it's a shortcut to a better world. I consider echo-chambers to be unhealthy to the mind. I can't really support such a reporter direction financially, ethically or rationally.
I can only advise you to remain skeptical and to not reveal to them that you are. When it comes to politics or ethics, I mean.
