@zecks23: Good on you for taking steps to put yourself in a better place, man! It's not easy, but it's totally worth it! I'm a recovering addict myself and I can say you're definitely doing the right thing trying to avoid your triggers.

That being said, I'm pretty sure there's no alcohol in the Unplugged videos either (someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about this.)

For all you folks waiting on an English version of the game, there you go! It's still not as ideal as having a North American version, but it's something! I haven't personally confirmed it yet, but it's downloading as I write this and will update it once I know for sure.

EDIT: CONFIRMED!

EDIT EDIT:BLOCK IS BACK IN PLACE. NOTHING TO SEE HERE...MOVE ALONG.

I realize you said PC specifically, but if you have a PS3 you can get Suikoden and Suikoden 2 on PSN which actually is set up to be played one-handed if you want. You can use the shoulder buttons (L1 and L2) instead of the face buttons on the right side of the controller and (I think) select brings up the menu? It's been a while but I'm pretty sure that's how it was.

Romancing SaGa 3 was awesome. I beat it about 10 years ago without a guide when I was still in High School. It was very time-consuming and I got stuck several times because it's open world and there's a lot of events and whatnot that aren't triggered until you talk to X npc or do Y thing. It was still a lot of fun and felt like a real accomplishment when I got to the end. The last boss fight was HARD! He got stronger as the fight went on and then put out an aura that did damage to you every round in addition to his attacks AND you had a time limit. If you didn't kill him fast enough, game over.

I didn't like Bahamut Lagoon very much. I didn't get very far in that one. The little bit of story I saw was largely uninteresting to me and the gameplay didn't do much for me either.

Treasure Hunter G seemed pretty cool from what I remember of it. It's been a long time since I've played it. I honestly don't remember why I stopped or much of anything else about the game, story-wise. I suppose that itself is an indication of how much impact the game left on me. Pretty much all I remember was the combat system was unique and honestly, pretty cool.

So yeah....there's Shulk. Was he actually announced yet? I don't seem to recall seeing anything about him before.

I really liked Alundra. It's basically a clone of old school Zelda and the localization was really well done. It also has multiple weapon types and jumping!

Hands down the best PC gamepad for your money would be this one right here. I've never been more satisfied with a controller for my PC and that includes using a 360 controller. It's got a switch on the back that lets you switch between xinput (360 controller) and direct input (old school gamepad for compatibility with older games.)

Also, have you ever played a side-scroller on your pc only to have it force you to use the joystick for movement because that's considered the primary directional input? That's what the mode button on the front of the logitech gamepad is for. It swaps the primary directional input between the gamepad and joystick for those kinds of situations. All around, it's a quality gamepad for the money and has versatility that you won't get from a 360 controller. It's good. Seriously.
