I just finished the story and am doing the tempered beasts hunts as end game at the moment, have not done enough to get the augment thing though, I'm also still doing some house cleaning with the optional quests I barely touched.
First one I have a surprising fondness for. It was actually a pretty tense and fun ride, though it most likely wouldn't hold up on a 2nd viewing. The mystery around it sure did help (remenber everyone thinking it would tie into LOST?). 10 Cloverfield Lane I haven't seen yet but I hear mostly good things. Think I read how it ended but don't recall the specifics. I like the idea of it being a weird anthology movie series.
Cloverfield Lane was pretty good, it has John Goodman and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, it's a good mystery thriller with a tiny bit of monster thrown in at the end, just like Paradox. It seemed fine in Lane but really tacked on as an afterthought in Paradox. I think they should have stuck with just mentions without actually showing the monsters because that ending show in Paradox looked really bad. It would have been fine if if was just her pod crashing down and him telling them to tell her not to come down, then cut to credits.
It was a decent Sci-Fi movie though, overall quite enjoyed it.
Man, it's been a while since I watched Dragon Ball. Now I'm wondering if I should just rewatch the original show or Kai. I don't know if I have it in me to watch 291 episodes though, so maybe I'll just watch Kai. I've heard it's not as good though?
You should watch Kai, it filters out all the fillers and the visuals are updated, it's also more true to the source material.
I watched Kai a couple of years ago but I'll rewatch it alongside them for reference.
If you don't want to watch it in Japanese then Dragonball Kai is for you, while not perfect the English dub is leagues better than it was during the initial US run of DBZ, Yes it does lose a little build up and some character development due to its shorter length but it is the best Dragonball in English dubbed, Solid work by the American cast.
I will listen to Jason giggle about Monster Hunter for hours. Jeff's solo streams are neat because he has a lot of insight of the games he plays and love to learn about the old games.
I'm used to solo streams because I watch a bunch of Twitch streamers a lot.
I had to watch that snippet of that documentary a couple of times to grasp what they were talking about, went to the forums to get some more information on it and yikes, how bizarre this all is.
Why don't they just call this a TV then? Isn't and monitor and a television the same thing just we happen to call them different things because monitors tend to be smaller and don't have a coaxial input? Or is there an actual difference between a TV and monitor that I never heard of?
TV's don't have G-Sync and a high hertz I believe. "things good for games" and such.
