I don't even know what K-POP is. Is it Kansan-Pop? 

When I hear K-Pop, the only thing that comes to my mind is SNSD. I actually really like them, but I think the fact that they are a bunch of pretty ladies plays a bigger role in that than their actual music does.  
 
EDIT: Actually, that sounds like a really snarky comment, but I do enjoy K-Pop and J-Pop more than the average folk would. And you're right, it does get me some pretty weird looks. 

Can't Nobody is the only song I like by them. What disgusts me, however, is that Minzy is 16. She's like a real-life Kujikawa Rise.
 
You should listen to 2AM/2PM/ONE DAY, the only K-Pop band(s) I can respect.

It seems like half the games industry recommends K-Pop at every possible turn, but I just can't get into it. The beats and vocals are all too plain. Is my career doomed?

I think it's fun. I occasionally listen to K-pop as well when I get bogged down by too much metal and just want some mindless stuff.

All of the album except "Oh Yeah" and "High High" was written by GD&TOP in some way. YG just chose those crappy Teddy songs as the main tracks because he has a hard on for autotune and bad taste.
